School Cottage, Hexham.

SueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
School Cottage was the perfect way to end energetic days spent re-discovering Tyneside and the towns of Hexham, Corbridge and Morpeth. It's a lovely house with all the amenities we need, in a quiet location but near enough for us to walk into Hexham. Also, the train service to Newcastle and beyond is convenient and inexpensive: it made a nice change from using the car. We'd not visited for a few years and had forgotten just how wonderful this part of England is. We're already planning another trip towards the end of the year and hope that School Cottage is available. Thank you, Jim and Pat

South View

We loved our stay at 1 Southview. Gillian was very helpful in her communication. The cottage is lovely - well equipped and clean with a comfortable mattress. We were surrounded by green fields and wildlife. Gillian and John put their lambs out on the second day which was a bonus! We loved walks from The Sill and all the Roman history of the area. We hope to go back and stay again.

Manor House Byre

Had a great stay for my Partner's birthday. Pristine studio and perfect as a cosy base to explore Northumberland or stay closer by and enjoy the gorgeous, peaceful surroundings. Short drive from the nearby village of Wark with great pub/restaurants and under 30 minutes from Hexham. Kristen was a responsive and attentive host with fantastic local knowledge and recommendations that we wouldn't have found ourselves. Will definitely look to stay again when we are next in the area.

Cosy Cottage ideal for Explorers & City Escapers

MelissaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Parlour was comfortable and homey. It was originally a milking parkour that has been remodeled into a wonderful place to stay. It has a loft for kids that made me wish I was ten again. Kids would love it! We enjoyed the downstairs with the spacious bedroom and comfortable bed. We cooked our meals in the well outfitted kitchen. The living and dining room was relaxing and inviting. We appreciated the beer and prosecco in the welcome basket. I mentioned that I had hurt my knee, and Claire stopped by with hiking poles I could use. So thoughtful and kind. We enjoyed our time visiting sites along Hadrian’s Wall. This was an ideal base for that.

Shaftoe Cottage, on the banks of the River Tyne

It was lovely to sit by the river and watch the sunset. All amenities were within walking distance. Public transport links excellent so plenty of choice of what to do. We walked, cycled and travelled by bus and train.
