Wonderful stay in a beautiful area, with very good cuisine in Macedo, and many nature trails to choose from. We went with a dog, and everything was perfect. Very good service from Pedro and his family.

Thank you very much Raquel! We spent a wonderful Holy Week with the family in a very charming place. The house is spectacular, comfortable, fully equipped and very cozy. A house with a lot of history linked to the cinema (we visited the 1950 cinema). 15 minutes from downtown Zamora, which allowed us to get around easily. 100% recommended. We hope to be back soon!

It was a perfect vacation! We fell in love with the village and the house. We came with the idea of repeating. Juan was very nice, he explained everything and I advise us where to eat, places to visit, very kind and attentive!!! If you want to enjoy a quiet vacation, this is the perfect place!! PS: What about the weather... it was wonderful, just what we were looking for to escape the heat of Madrid.

Perfect host, well-maintained accommodation, all great.

We spent 3 weeks relaxing and visited the surrounding towns and villages. Our host is very welcoming and extremely available throughout the stay. The house is by the lake, as shown. It's the most clamorous and relaxing place.

The Lagar is a place to disconnect and enjoy the environment and tranquility. It's a little cottage that has everything we need. With the fireplace it does not go cold, although you do have to be aware because when it turns off the temperature is quite low, and if you go upstairs it is very hot. We hope to be able to return in summer to enjoy the patio (beautiful) and the pool. The environment is wonderful and Carmen has been very friendly from the start. Perhaps in winter the price could be revised, not being able to enjoy the attraction of the patio, and although the area is very nice, the price is comparable to "trendy" destinations, where you access all kinds of services. We were able to bring our puppy with a surcharge of €10.

This property is simply WONDERFUL. It's perfect for disconnecting and relaxing, in a beautiful setting. The house has everything you might need, and the outside is unbeatable. Angela and Mario are charming, the best hosts you could wish for. I recommend this beautiful house 100% and we would like to go back

The house was perfect. The area around the house was even better. It's an awesome option to stay away from noise and rush. The assistance was also great. All our questions were answered in advance and during the stay. I highly recommend this place, and I'll be glad to come back. Note: there are up to 5 big dogs outside the house. If you're planning to come with your dogs, keep in mind that it will be difficult/impossible to spend time with them outside.

Beautiful location in the hills and located in the most gorgeous quaint village. Loved the plunge pool and view. The accomodation wasn’t in isolation ( shared pool and some shared amenities) but felt very comfortable overall

We had a really lovely family break at the house this summer. A cosy home from home, the house is steeped in history but has had sympathetic work done to it, to modernise in parts. The outdoor area was a real hit for us, it’s massive, so plenty of space to hang in the sun, eat meals in the shade & our kids absolutely loved the pool. It was also beautifully lit at night, so we made the most of the warm evenings to sit out there & take in the peace & quiet. A huge thanks to Nieves the owner, who is undoubtedly one of the nicest owners on Airbnb. We hope to be back one day!

Everything was great, the host was a very kind man, whenever we needed something he helped us with whatever it was. The place is great, secluded with great views and a lot of peace. We felt very comfortable in Susana's place. The reception was very warm and we received a lot of information about hiking trails, the nearest shopping and the surroundings. We will be happy to come back and spend quiet nights without any noise of civilization. Many thanks to the hosts for the beautiful accommodation.

We had already read the reviews and our stay confirmed, the D. Hope is a sympathy, always available to help. A real airbnb, every morning waiting for us were a few slices of delicious cake, a fresh orange juice, coffee and bread, all for a good breakfast!!! The super clean facility and where nothing was missing, very pleasant and for those who want to work or watch some movies on the internet, this works very well, without flaws. The village, very beautiful and very calm, is rarely heard a deck beyond the corner of the birds!!! I hope to return soon. Thank you so much

It's a wonderful house. It far exceeds all expectations you might have. It's full of amenities and details and is super spacious. The patio, with its porch, is a delight in summer. But the living room fireplace must be a luxury for a winter getaway. Exquisite cleanliness. Ideal for disconnecting and enjoying a very special natural environment. We would definitely stay here again. Peque is cool ;)

The accommodation is in a beautiful village, very quiet and close to very nice places to visit. It's very cozy and warm. We hope to visit again soon.

Maribel's house is perfect for spending a few days near the forest. The bedrooms are comfortable and beautiful. There is a bathroom on each floor. The kitchen is spacious, has a couple of sofas and a long dining table. In the village there is only one bar, but it is very close to Puebla and Mombuey, larger towns with all the amenities.

The casa was absolutely perfect for our needs. A very homey, warm space, containing absolutely everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. An added bonus - the rooftop terrace! Rabal is a peaceful little village with a mix of deserted ruins and homes inhabited mostly by locals. We appreciated staying in a town that wasn't dominated by tourist rentals and we found all the locals very friendly and ready to say good morning or more. Conversations were only limited by our ability to speak no more than basic Portuguese. Both little cafes/bars, located side by side, were delightful! Both a great 'go to' for the beverage of your choice. Location, location, location! There are some lovely walks right outside the door. Recommended is a circular walk through the countryside to the Santuário de Santa Ana. Bragança is a short 15 min. drive. The circular route to Puebla de Sanabria, Spain and back through Rio de Orno is an incredibly scenic drive. Ninho do Melro II - Highly recommended!
