This cottage was everything we wanted it to be. It was local to what we wanted to be doing, private, clean and the hot tub was immaculate. Great set up in the cottage itself and Nikki couldn’t have been more helpful. Am definitely going back 🧡

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

The cottage was great! Perfect for a weekend out of the city, our group and I loved the entire experience. Janice was very helpful and even left a very sweet personal touch for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

What a sensational weekend get away. This cottage had it ALL! Brilliant decor, a kitchen that I would love to have in my own home! Such a well thought out layout and gathering areas for relaxing, eating and playing games. The decor….amazing. The games room, simply spectacular, and the downstairs tv area, just wonderful. The views were off the charts, beautiful, and we had the most incredible weekend. Erika was very accommodating and flexible with check in etc. The kitchen is well stocked and we had an exceptional weekend. Would rent again.

Beautiful cottage and also nice outdoor decoration and nice walk to river with gorgeous lights! We celebrate birthday with family so plenty space for 10 people, 2 kids and 2 infants! Also just mention there’s noise detector which host didn’t mention on description, inside you can be pretty loud only outside have to respect live neighborhood but it wasn’t issue for us to celebrate birthday! Was flexible check-out from Bethany which helps us! Airbnb host is very responsive which is nice, there were a couple messages I had to follow-up on.

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

Laura's hospitality truly stood out; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location is unbeatable. Being just a short drive to Algonquin Park allowed us to enjoy some fantastic hikes with our dog and we loved returning to the peaceful setting of the cottage afterward. This cottage is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway or a cozy work-from-home option.

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jonathan’s cottage. The views were stunning, the cottage was cozy, and the interior was well-maintained and clean! Jonathan was a lovely host and made all instructions clear from the get-go. Would highly recommend!!!

Our stay at Wren Lake was amazing. The cottage is on a small hill that overlooks a cove in the lake. The dock was very spacious, which was perfect for relaxing and tanning outside. We loved all the water toys!!! The cottage itself was slightly smaller than we anticipated, but it made for a cozy and more comfortable stay. The spaces were very clean, and organized. We all particularly enjoyed the black out curtains located in each room! With Dorset less than 12 minutes away, it made our stay more convenient and easy. Michelle was very responsive and a very awesome host :) We would all recommend Michelles cottage, it is perfect for a quiet, and relaxing stay away with friends or family.

beautiful location , very quiet and private... clean..it had everything we needed.... I only wish I brought more mosquitoe/ black fly repellents... we were unprepared , even as host nicely warned us of black fly season... It was my first experience w black flies and it was quite memorable:) I would still definitely come back.... thank you Bryan!

We had such a wonderful time staying at Rowan Cottage! It was my husband and I with our little Boston Terrier and everything was perfect! The place was spotless when we got there and the instructions to check in were very easy to navigate. The place felt brand new. It was just the right amount of space for us. It is a fairly private area and the waters were very peaceful, not a lot of traffic on the water at all! The views from the cottage were amazing - perfect for the morning coffee! Appliances were great, and the washroom was so clean. There were awesome board games and vinyl records to jam to. As well as a Bluetooth speaker to connect. We were never bored! For anyone looking to visit, there are a fair bit of mosquitos so remember bug spray! Overall an amazing experience and highly recommend!

This was our fourth stay and it felt like home. Always love coming back and even though the weather wasn’t great, there was plenty to do with the sauna, records, VHS tapes and games.

Claudia’s cottage was beautiful and welcoming, and exactly what the photos and listing promised. The cottage was furnished very thoughtfully, and it was clear that someone put a lot of thought into what you need and use at a cottage. Claudia was flexible with our check in time, which we really appreciated. We stayed for a weekend and it was the perfect backdrop to the start of summer.

Such a beautifully and thoughtfully designed cabin and surrounding property. We loved the attention to details in all the spaces, including the use of European style windows and doors, it made us feel completely transported to another world, like we were staying at a cabin in Estonia! Amanda was so friendly and responsive when we had questions and provided so many great local recommendations to do in the area. Would recommend for anyone looking for an extra special stay and for people who appreciate well-designed spaces!

Had a really lovely weekend at Mei and Sean’s cottage. The cottage is very cute, clean and was exactly as described in the listing. Mei and Sean were great hosts. They were very friendly, proactive and helpful. They provided very clear directions on how to get to the cottage which was appreciated. We were 2 families (9 people) and were very comfortable….plenty of space to stretch out. Loved the option to have open or covered patio, and made good use of the kayaks. We hope to visit again someday. Thanks again for a great long weekend!

Heron House is a truly beautiful cottage with thoughtful decor that makes you feel instantly at home. Unlike a hotel that’s just a place to drop your suitcase, this cottage was clearly designed to be lived in and enjoyed. It invites you to settle in, unwind, and connect with nature and loved ones. The layout is ideal for all ages, with a convenient master bedroom on the ground floor, and three additional bedrooms upstairs. There’s plenty to do and for everyone to enjoy: from friendly games of ping pong or ladder toss, to relaxing moments in the hot tub Highly recommended for families, or groups of friends looking for a comfortable and memorable escape in Muskoka.

Ashley is a gem and her place is truly a diamond. Her place was absolutely pristine (and I am super picky about the cleanliness of any place I stay in) - she had all the amenities and her whole place looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. Her cottage is in a beautiful and quiet area, giving us some real serenity from the city life. Although our stay was short it was truly perfect and we would love to come back especially during the fall when the leaves turn colour.

Just got home from Port Sydney Cottage’s after staying there for my nieces wedding. I truly can’t say enough about how amazing the hosts were. They were very accommodating and very nice people. The house itself is absolutely stunning, had a hard time getting my daughter to leave. Unfortunately because we were so busy with my nieces wedding that we didn’t really get to use some of the amazing amenities. There was certainly enough to find to do. I do want to say that no one delivers out there so make sure you have the food you need if you don’t want to drive to get food. We had a great time!!!

This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Cottage is well maintained and the lake view is just surreal. Will definitely come back.
