Monthly Rentals in Alfriston

The garden lodge was the perfect base for the wedding we were attending in town! It is located in an absolutely gorgeous setting and is so peaceful and quiet. Mark himself was super communicative and welcoming. I would highly recommend booking yourself into this spot! Alfriston and the surrounding area is so lovely.

"What Knot" is absolutely unique, something you would find on George Clarke's "Amazing Spaces", and we loved it! Set in a beautiful and peaceful garden location, everything is thoughtfully packed in to a remarkable space that belies it's actual size. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, with all you need provided for - even bread/eggs/cereals for breakfast, plus a couple of G&Ts in the fridge to boot! Heather was a great host, and particularly easy to communicate with - she sent us perfect directions for how to get there, and clear instructions to check in and out. The location is also superb, being just yards away from Alfriston high street, which has well stocked shop, cafe, and pubs/restaurants with many eating options. Overall, a great stay in a great location, and we would definitely recommend if you found yourself in that part of the world!

The cottage and the village of Alfriston are interesting and beautiful. We sat in the garden in the late afternoon to be serinaded by a song thrush perched high in the trees at the back. The countryside around is delighful

Really lovely house. Really well stocked kitchen, there wasn’t a thing I wanted that wasn’t there. Lovely decor. Village is pretty tho a little heavy on traffic. But the fact that you can walk from the village along the river to the sea beats everything!
