Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Alexandria

We had a great stay. Host met us at the door and showed us around. We two adults, two kids, and a dog and we had room to spare. Kitchen was very well equipped, easy street parking right in front, and though no washer the laundromat was right across the street. Easy walk to cute downtown and the river too. Michael was very communicative and made sure we had a great time. For sure would stay again.

Beautiful home, tall ceiling’s, even nicer than the pictures! Clean, gorgeous and comfy decor, cozy gas fireplace, excellent location walking distance to downtown, waterfront, many restaurants and Queens campus. Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Everything you could possibly need and more. Cannot wait to stay here again!

It was a great place! Beautiful stay. We had 8 people total and it was big enough for us to not feel cramped. Would return in the future.

Beautiful place, had an ice storm while there which was beautiful on the trees. NY does a great job on maintaining the roads so we weren’t held up at all..we were in town for a family funeral so didn’t do anything extra this trip. Nice place to retreat to after the long day.

The cottage was largely as advertised: comfortable and clean, quiet and private, and within easy walking distance of downtown, the university, and the waterfront. It was well stocked with towels, bedding, kitchen equipment, and other basics. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, decent-sized bedrooms, and modern upstairs bathroom. Overall, it's a cosy place, rather than a luxurious one, and that suited us just fine. We'd certainly book it again without hesitation. One suggestion: it would be good to note in the description and photos that the staircase to the second floor is steep, narrow, and has a sharp angle at the top. This is something that visitors with small children and those with even slight balance or mobility problems should be aware of, especially since the only full bathroom is on the second floor.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for everyone. We were able to have family over, cook, talk, all with 6 grandkids having a great time. We wouldn't hesitate to book this place again.

Second time we have stayed here. Both were fantastic! Beautiful home, plenty of space, calm and relaxing setting.

My family and I had a comfortable stay at the cottage. There was more than enough space for the 7 off us. My toddler enjoyed playing in the sunroom. The location was quiet, yet very close to Clayton and Alex Bay. I would stay here again on a trip to the Thousand Islands.

Tyler was extremely flexible as we had to check in super early after a long drive. The place was very clean, everything was easily accessible, and it was a cozy. Just enough space for my partner and I, Definitely would book again.

Excellent place! Beautiful setting, cozy, quiet and very clean with spectacular views. Perfect location for waterfront walking, downtown shopping and dining. We definitely Italy will be back.

Loved this place! Location was excellent and super close to Morrison’s and Cooke’s which was great for us. My mom & I were in Kingston to visit family and friends. It was my mom’s first stay in an AirBnB and she was very impressed. She kept saying how classy the apartment was. Sol checked me in - he was super friendly and gave me excellent instructions. Apartment immaculate and had everything we needed.

We had a lovely three night stay at this adorable apartment. Perfect spot to walk around, things to do, great parking situation. The interior was just as lovely with a big bed. Will absolutely be returning!

could not speak more highly of this listing. the place looked better than the photos, especially the fabulous bathroom. hosts responded within minutes to my messages. impressively - they went above and beyond with stocking the place (there was milk and eggs in the fridge, chocolates left for us, a variety of dinner / cookware, spices, etc). have not seen many airbnbs do that in a while (most provide the bare minimum). location is easily walkable to the main street. we will be returning when we are in next in kingston. thank you andrew and karolina!

Sean is a wonderful host. His million dollar home is incredibly well stocked with all the amenities. I think we’re the first Snowy, Winter review …. and we definitely rate it 5 Stars like all the warm weather reviews. The lovely fireplace glows throughout the massive living room, and our Christmas Dinner at the huge dining table was epic! The house has a magnificent heating system; even single digit outdoor temperatures were no problem for it. Sean deserves his Super Host status …. He didn’t mind me texting & calling him for restaurants and various instructions … a truly nice fellow. The house is a bit hidden away but its views and grandeur are unmatched. We definitely want to return in the summer to take advantage of its magnificent waterfront location. Thank you Sean for trusting us with your mansion!

We were so grateful to have an affordable place for our large family to gather comfortably in the winter. The large private property was a real asset as we had lots of kids in our group who like to play outside and this let the adults have some peaceful moments together. The kitchen’s had everything we needed. The houses were clean and uncluttered, yet cozy. All the furniture was useful and practical. Robin was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be returning one day.

Kim's home was the perfect winter getaway. Very spacious and warm, and close to the lake and great trails for hiking and snowshoeing. Only tip is if you plan on doing any cooking, there's no oil, salt, pepper, etc so come prepared!

This is house is perfect for anyone one who likes to explore Alexandria bay it’s just 25 mins from the bay And water town got some nice attractions too. House for this price is a jackpot with 3 bedrooms and a nice backyard and little gym inside What else u can ask for Mj was very easy to communicate I would recommend this peace and calm place to everyone

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!
