The moss covered trees make you feel like you are in the middle of a MIddle Earth Adventure. Whale Island Cabins are good for couples, solo adventurers, and big groups. The cabins are not on the Kodiak mainland, but rather on a nearby island. You will have to make arrangements to get from Kodiak to the island by charter boat or float plane.
