Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Aleutian Islands

Excellent stay. Problem previously noted in another review with entry door was repaired and entry is per directions. Location was walkable to town, shopping and restaurants.

Cory is an awesome host who goes out of his way to look after his guests. Starlink internet is fast and stable.

An excellent place to stay in Adak where there are very few options. This is a two bedroom ranch house with two beds in each bedroom and a bathroom. There is an ample living room and dining area plus a very well. kept kitchen with essential utensils and appliances. There is a washer dryer. Everything in good condition and spotless. As I hadn’t rented a car in advance, his team met me at the airport and brought me to the house. I asked to rent a bicycle and it was brought right away. After two days with a bike, the weather turned, and I rented a truck from them. The prices for both were quite fair. Corey and his team helped me with hiking trails and a map of the island. A word in advance: bring your own food. There is a bar where you can get a good hamburger, but it is only open four nights a week. There is supposedly another restaurant, but on the three days that I checked, it was not open. Bring everything you need for all meals.

I have no complaints

My family and I had a wonderful time in Kodiak at John's place. There were 11 of us and everyone had a comfortable bed or futon to sleep on. We were there for my 30th high school reuion and it couldn't have been more perfect! Thank you again for sharing your awesome house:) Samantha Buell

Born and raised on the island, but staying here felt like a new world! What a beautiful piece of Kodiak. The house was spacious, clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more. Jeff and his wife were so kind and opened their beautiful home to our family. Would love to come back and stay again one day. The banya was hot, the views were exceptional, and we loved the peace and tranquillity. Beautiful beaches, four wheeling, paddle boarding and site seeing.

Tonya was the kind of host we love. She went above our expectations to help make us comfortable complete with Lindt truffles on the counter for us. The view was beyond compare, outstanding!!

Cannot say enough about Mrs. Yvonne and this place. The view is stunning, the property and host were amazing and the activities near by were so easy to get to! Yvonne was super knowledgeable of the area and was always willing to help with any questions we had! If you visit Kodiak, this is a great place to stay!

This was a really fun camping trip on Kodiak island. Couldn’t have gone smoother. Meg had the camper set up, ready, and stocked (gas/propane/wood) in the Buskin camp where we wanted it. Site 11 was big and private! Bathroom was near by and so was the water, but the coast guard shut it off so there is no water at all in the camp. This was our biggest challenge. With 5 of us (almost all adults) we ran out of water pretty quick. We had to buy a ton of water jugs for dishes and drinking, which sucked. We showered at one of my friend’s places one day. The laundromat is gnarly, expensive, and only open 3 days a week. It did the job though. Half the machines were broken. $4 a wash and 25 cents for 7 min to dry. There were other things that were not provided that would’ve been useful while camping. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely rent again!

Our family spent a few days at Micah's place and each of us said it completely made our trip! EXTREMELY beautiful views and very cozy. It had all of the amenities we needed (plus some) and was extremely spacious. The location was perfect for walking into town to the harbor or for setting out in either direction down the road. The hosts were extremely gracious and let us adjust our check-out time and were very responsive and helpful. We would not hesitate to make sure we stay here again for our next trip to Kodiak.

Short flight of stairs to walk from the street, with easy access to the room. About a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport, and a very quick walk to the nearest restaurants and convenience store. Would recommend!

This property is the epitome of an OUTSTANDING Airbnb stay. Sara should be a super host. The place is exactly as described in the photos. It is welcoming and has been really designed to prioritize the guest experience. So many details around the house make for a great stay. The kitchen is super well equipped so for anyone who likes to cook this is great. We found the place to be very clean and all beds made up ready for our arrival. Sara is very responsive and once again her interactions were always led by prioritizing the guest experience. The area is super and although we rented a car we enjoyed walking to the restaurant and coffee place recommendations that were in the welcome book. This is one of the best Airbnb stays we've ever had and can't wait to return.

Flight was cancelled but up until that point the communications were fantastic and I hope to stay at Steve's place in the future.
