Giske is a wonderful island, it feels like it has a lot of history. Perfect place to walk and be at peace. The view is wonderful and lighting the fireplace is a pleasant experience. Thank you Ellen for your hospitality.

We were totally happy with everything and the beautiful view

We, 2 adults 3 children, felt from the beginning as if we were visiting a friend. Arne and his wife welcomed us and Arne took a lot of time to explain everything to us. The house is huge, very clean and has everything you need, plus a breathtaking view from every room! You can tell that Arne attaches great importance to detail and maintains his house with love. From the house you can hike directly to the bird cliffs - the next highlight. Here, too, we received many useful insider tips. Even those who like to fish are in good hands. There are possibilities just a few minutes away by car. We had our fresh fish every day. From the harbor on Runde, an excursion boat starts which sails around the island, but you need good weather for this. We must particularly emphasize the great care by Arne, who was also immediately available in an emergency situation and lovingly looked after us. We will be back! 🥰

Duse, nice colors on walls and floors. Clean and nice. Very nice to cook and well equipped kitchen. Nice starting point for trips, both easy walks to a little more summit trips. We really enjoyed the house at Ulla.

We had a delightful stay at Agnes’s place. We were there in April so we brought slippers and warm indoor clothes and were nice and cosy even though it is an old house. Looking at the old photos and furniture inside was really interesting (note the staircase to the bedrooms on the second floor). The bedrooms feel bigger than the photos and there was a wonderful little play room for the kids. Great location if you are planning on visiting the puffins. Agnes was very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Communication with the host was quick and clear, which we really appreciated. The apartment met expectations and was both cozy and functional. Everything we needed was available and we felt well taken care of during the whole stay. All in all, a positive experience and we are happy to recommend this place further!

My stay was 6 weeks and I look back on it positively. It is a place where you can really relax. The place is very comfortable and had everything I needed. The nature and hiking opportunities nearby are fantastic. Solgunn is a very good hostess. Very considerate and very helpful. She gave very good tips and invited me to walks and activities. I can recommend this place to anyone!

The place is really worth recommending! A home designed and made with great craftsmanship. Natural materials in the interior beautifully refer to the views outside the windows. The amenities are also very tasteful. We were with a friendly family, and we had a special time together. Each of us mentions this trip as the best of life. Outside the house itself the neighborhood is beautiful. Throughout our stay, we explored new places every day. Beautiful country, rich in amazing landscapes that take your breath away. We are thinking of staying again. The beds were very comfortable, sheets like the best hotels. A comfortable table (we were very comfortable for 8 people)and a well-equipped kitchen. We cooked delicious dishes every day while admiring the view of the mountains outside the windows. Amazing experience. Well-equipped gym, beautiful rooms to relax. It was much better than we expected! The contact with Ove was very good, he is a very kind and helpful host. It tells you the best places to see. Nothing to complain about!

The two of us spent 10 days with a dog at Anders' place. It was just wonderful! The cottage is incredibly cozy, has everything you need (and more) and the immediate surroundings and above all the views are simply fantastically beautiful. We were even able to enjoy the two rainy days with a view of the fjord. There are some great excursions to take in the immediate vicinity - I still have some muscle soreness from all the (Sherpa) stairs on the Midsundtrappene. All in all, we can highly recommend the place and would come back any time if we are in the area. Thank you so much for this!

We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

Cozy and nice cabin, with nice surroundings. Good communication with host who responded quickly and was always available.

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

Thank you very much for the opportunity to rent this wonderful house. Everything was very harmoniously decorated with great attention to detail. You can relax delightfully in the sauna and hot tub and relax in the swing overlooking the water. Our favorite place was the seat "in" the window. We would gladly came back. Thanks for everything
