Our group had a fantastic stay in Shelter Cove at this house! It was exactly as described and felt even bigger in person. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable visit. Jon was very welcoming and responsive throughout our stay, providing helpful tips and answering any questions I had. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and straightforward. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a large house to host a bigger group.

Beautifully finished private comfy home with taller ceilings and open floorplan Had all the needed kitchen gadgets including keurig, drip coffee maker, bean grinder, keying pods as well as pod grounds qdapter, tea and creamers New appliances and quality customized layout made home cooked meals on vacation a joy Bathrooms clean and appointed fully with nice towels, showers were enjoyable and large smart television that was easy to use and great to catch up on Netflix series shows around adventures to beach and to town

We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday and even though the weather was super rainy we still had the best time! We will definately be back to this rental with our kiddos. I usually dont expect great beds in rentals but omg...every bed here was amazing! I had coffee in and read my book every morning while soaking in the outdoor tub and the fire place table top was awesome to lounge around on the only day we had clear skys. We will definitely be back!

Shelter Cove- WOW! What a view!

Wow- What A View! was exactly as described, a great deal, and very enjoyable. We arrived after dark and had no issues finding the location and entering using the lock box key. We were able to bring our dog (loved this) and used the provided sheets to protect furniture. My absolute favorite part was the view from the kitchen and living rooms and the convenient walking distance to the ocean. We happened to be there at the same time as a storm and were able to witness some truly memorable waves. We ate at a few recommended restaurants in town and were also able to cook a few meals in. We played board games and enjoyed some time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Truly a great birthday present. Thank you!!

We had a great time at this bungalow near the beach. We had never been to Shelter Cove before so we didn't know what to really expect. this place was conveniently located just a short walking distance to the tide pools. The kids love to look for crabs and snails in the pools. We also enjoyed a delicious meal nearby. Shanna was excellent host and let us know of things to do in the area. The place was incredible. it was cozy and inviting. it felt like something out of a Ernest Hemingway book. We look forward to coming back again! Thank you

This house is amazing! It accommodated my large family and made us feel right at home after a long day on the road. The kids loved the large yard, sports court, work out area, and walking down to the river. The house is spotless and the kitchen well stocked.

The reviews I read were just as promised. The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s truly an experience, not just a house. The host was great about checking in on us, and always responded quickly. The house was immaculately clean, and most importantly, organized, this takes off a lot of stress when staying at another house other than yourself, it made it easy to move around the kitchen. The heaters worked great, and the beds were cozy and mattresses so comfortable. The living area was just as cozy with the recliners sofas & big TV. The kitchen has stunning views and so comfortable to cook and eat. The market and gas station were a a small drive away with good prices and fully stocked, and to add a beautiful drive! Thank you so much!

What a magical retreat Amy and Miles have created! My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed a couple of nights before she headed to summer camp, and it was the perfect spot for quality bonding time. Maddie, their sweet brown Lab, greeted us warmly upon our arrival and kept us company throughout our stay. Amy was an exceptional hostess, leaving us a lovely handwritten note and thoughtful gemstones that made us feel truly welcomed. The separate cabins are both unique and practical, equipped with everything we needed. We loved discovering delightful touches like olive oil and flaked sea salt, fresh herbs, vases of cut flowers, and ice-cold Capri Suns that my daughter enjoyed! Amy and her lovely mom, who was visiting, graciously took us on a hike around their property, which was an absolute pleasure. They were both so knowledgeable and fun! I can’t wait to spend more time in this peaceful haven and explore the area further before picking up my daughter from camp. I’m truly charmed!

First off the location is great, you can hear the ocean, it’s peaceful and away from the hustle bustle of town. My kids and I loved the porch when it wasn’t raining(we stayed during a stormy weekend). The kitchen… to die for. The open concept of the home made it fun to run around and play the littles. No clutter or mall things for the littles to pick up and break or lay with. Over all nice and quiet stay.

This experience surpassed our expectations…we have stayed in many rentals up and down the coast and this place astounded us with the beauty. It rained mostly the entire time but we were able to take walks during the breaks. Saw turkey, deer and grey squirrels. Inside was warm and comfortable …there are several markets nearby. Hosts were extremely thoughtful leaving instructions and we wanted for nothing..thank you!!

My favorite south Humboldt getaway! The creek, the hot tub, comfy beds and the adjacent state redwood grove made this place an exceptional stay! Already planning our return! Key tip- use the pull offs when you’re going thru the grove on the way to the property and hike down and around some impressive old growth. No crowds and I saw 2 bald eagles ! Magical ! Thank you Susan !
