Charming Guest Room in 1907 Cottage on Russian Hill

Begin a relaxing morning out on the porch, then head to the local international market and delis. This fully-equipped suite features a comfy 4-poster bed, kitchenette, and charming dining area. It's all the comforts of home with a 20th-century vibe. Annie’s Cottage offers charming accommodations within walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, China Town, North Beach and other San Francisco favorites. Our unique San Francisco lodging on Russian Hill is convenient to many interesting shops and boutiques nearby. The historic San Francisco cable car system is only a short 1/2 block away. The accommodation is very private with a separate entrance and private deck. Since we are behind another building there is very little street noise. It is like being in the country in the middle of San Francisco. There is a queen bed and also a sofa bed but it is an additional cost. Three people, 2 beds add $15 per night, two people 2 beds add $7.50 per night. I live on the property so I am usually available by phone or text. At this time there is no personal interaction The home is located in an eclectic neighborhood with residents of all ages. It is 1/2 block to the cable car and 2.5 blocks from the popular Polk Street, which offers an array of ethnic restaurants and shops. It is within walking distance to North Beach and China Town. The vibrant Financial District is also close by. The cable car line, going to Fishermans Wharf and Union Square is 1/2 block away, Buses going all directions are 2 1/2 blocks away.

This large 3-room suite is part of my home, but is private, separate and locked off from the rest of the residence. There's a private entrance to your suite from the building lobby. Suite includes a dining/sitting area with dining/work table, sofa (opens to queen bed), TV and tiny patio. French doors separate this room from huge light-filled primary bedroom (with king bed). Cushioned bay window seat. Large spa-bathroom, "kitchenette" alcove, walk-in closet. 560 sq ft plus bath, closet & patio.

Capture the spirit of 1960s American wanderlust in a gleaming 1969 Airstream trailer. Painstakingly restored with period décor. We added our "aluminum guest house" to our back yard with a 100 foot crane! Quiet, green and private backyard. Quiet, calm suite by Golden Gate Park, a wonderful airy space to come home and relax. Great neighborhood to hang out in (ranked in 2024 by Time Out magazine as one of "coolest neighbourhoods in the world", and top ranked in the Bay Area) close to some of SF's great spots -10 mins to De Young Art Museum, Cal Academy of Science, Conservatory of Flowers; Clement Street restaurants and stores; also close to The Presido, Golden Gate Bridge. Perfect location for peace and serenity! The house is spotless, kitchen was open and easy to use, and the beds are comfortable and soft. The hot tub and heated stone sofa were welcomed every morning and evening while listening to the ocean. We will be back soon!

I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

Lauren's listing is a gem! The apartment has everything you could possibly need and more. The views are incredible from every space of the apartment and the area is easily walkable to SF restaurants and sites. I would definitely book her listing again and again. Just amazing!
