Fjellgla treetop cabin

Here you have the opportunity to spend the night in the top of the trees and enjoy the tranquility and wildlife of the forest. Here you can meet birds and squirrels, and there are good opportunities to spot deer and elk. In the summer months, there are alpacas grazing around the treetop cabin. The cabin is 30 sqm with a bedroom with double bed and two double beds on the loft. It has electricity, hot and cold water, bathroom with toilet and kitchen (Note! No shower). There is a terrace around the entire treetop cabin. There is a fire pit in the outdoor area by the cabin.

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Cozy student courtyard on farm. The house was built in 1905 and has interiors from the turn of the century to about 1970. Large, light and airy bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Kitchen and living room with wood stove and fireplace on the 1st floor. The house is close to Hallingdalselva with great swimming and fishing opportunities. You may borrow a rowboat or canoes. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

Our cabin was renovated and extended in the fall of 2022, and we can warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to a loft/living room with a double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washing machine/dryer and well equipped kitchen. In the attic living room there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge an electric car.
