We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. We have 2 large dogs, Jack & Boogie, a big blind pig, Lilo, and many cats. They bark/chuff and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs and a blind pig this is not the place for you. Animal noises, incl. coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.

Our Ohana has easy access to main road but far enough away to be in complete silence and zero light pollution. The studio is separate from main house with a kitchenette, full bathroom with tub and central air conditioning. If your looking for great beaches, waterfalls, and hikes through the rainforest and botanical gardens, look no further.

Country Guest Home

(REF TAX ID TA005-218-0480-01) Enjoy time in a small (384 sq ft) self-contained guest shack with full kitchen in a rural setting. If you don't find the sound of coqui frogs at night obtrusive to your sleep, then this space would be suitable. While you will have privacy, my dad stays in the main house in case you need assistance in person. We are located at about 100 foot of elevation which provides for relatively cooler nights.

Private, newly built/renovated bungalow on 3 acres in a lush, ancient mango grove and amazing jungle setting. Screened lanai with private yard and relaxing view. Privacy fenced and shaded outdoor concrete patio with table and chairs. Though the rental is far from the slow, red cinder road that takes you there, town and stores are accessible via new highway with memorable views through the 2018 Kilauea lava flow.
