Sahan’s beautiful airbnb is a little gem in Weligama. I would 100% recommend. He greeted us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The place itself and the pool especially are absolutely gorgeous! The perfect location for a little retreat. Thanks Sahan!

Was a nice stay at the Villa. And peshita was always there to help and for questions.

Lovely stay at the Blues for five of us attending a nearby wedding. Spacious grounds with colourful bird life, lizards and monkeys swinging from the trees. Lovely pool, could have spent the week lazing on the sunbeds. The two ladies at the house were always discreet, helpful and even prepared a lovely Sri Lankan curry on our late arrival due to the plane being diverted. They even cleaned the bbq for us. The house was clean, very spacious and steeped in Colonial history. As for Janaka, I can’t praise him enough. He went over and above to help and support every thing we did. He organised taxis, Tuk Tuks and even drove us into the neighbouring town for a bit of sightseeing and food and drinks purchasing on our first day. He spoke excellent English and would interpret for us if required. Lovely people, great property and a beautiful country. Will return in the future.

Wonderful spacious place with fresh renovation and mesmerizing ocean view. Very easy to to contact your host and staff. Lots of places around, 1 minute to the ocean. There is a minimum set of detergents - shower gels and shampoos. Clean enough, but the kitchen is starting to feel a little musty. For this season, it can look a little expensive and I want to expect more details at this price category - slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, more towels, shaving accessories, but these are more points for improvement, still this is an apartment, not a hotel. 11/10 :)

We had a wonderful stay at Catherine’s cottage. Location was good; walkable to the beach. It is hard to fully explain just how spacious the cottage is - every room is large and well thought out, even the outside veranda is enormous. The children loved the little pool, it was absolutely perfect to end our Sri Lankan adventure. Thank you.

The place is great. bed is comfortable, kitchen well equipped and very well located. a few minutes walk to the main beach and 15 minutes to Secret Beach. Prabodi is incredibly kind and helpful, and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again.

Sophie is a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The villa exceeded our expectations; it’s even better than the photos! The location is perfect for a beach holiday, just a short ride from Unawatuna where you’ll find great restaurants and bars. While getting an Uber or cab can occasionally be tricky, tuk-tuks are always readily available and add to the local charm. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

Just returned from one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. The villa is lovely, location is excellent and what made it even better was Kumar and the team who made our stay so very special! We were a party of 8 with 4 kids and did excursions every day. Thanks to the recommendations and organisations of Kumar, we did everything from whale watching, cooking class, tea plantation, turtle hatchery, surf lessons, beach clubs and a Galle tour. What also made the stay amazing, was the quality of the food! We had a very varied menu for picky eaters, sea food bbq, specialised curries and Italian food, all delicious and prepared beautifully! The location is also incredible with amazing views, little private beach and walking distance to jungle beach and easy tuktuk rides to loads of amenities and activities. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a lovely time at Luca's place. The house has everything you need for a great rest. You can observe the few animals that roam freely in the garden. The pool is a big plus in the heat of Sri Lanka. The house is incredibly clean and the people who work there are very nice. Nimesh will help you with any questions you may have, you can contact them anytime. He took us to exchange money, showed us where the best places to dine were and arranged all the excursions for us. He also took care of our trip and picked us up from the airport. Throughout, we were able to enjoy the wonderful dinners prepared by Nirosha including an excellent seafood barbecue. The house is in a very good location: only a short walk to the beach and all the restaurants/shops. Feel free to book your stay in this house, it's a real little paradise.

We are extremely happy to have found this amazing house. It was exactly what we were looking for to recharge at the end of a long road trip, close to the beach and with every comfort. The host was very welcoming and friendly and he also helped us to organise a surprise to two of our friends travelling with us that just married. The house was better that the description and very clean. We totally loved it. We also received a welcoming juice at the check-in. Beds are very comfortable, each room has air conditioning and ventilator. The living is very cozy and the kitchen has everything to cook. Totally recommended and when we’ll be back in Sri Lanka we will definitely come back to this house.

If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

True local experience! Dinner was awesome, and the view from the top deck was a delight, plenty of birds,squirrels and monkeys to watch. Excellent value for money. Please note that the location on the map is incorrect - the property is further up and took me about 7-8 minutes to walk to the beach. Own transport would be ideal in this location - I had difficulties with PickMe but kindly the host would source me a tuktuk from the village :)

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Best place to stay in Marissa….family had a great time…perfectly matches the phots and descriptions. I would definitely recommend this place. Very very proactive host goes out of his way to help the customer. Very close to the beach 🏖️.

Shamil was responsive and helpful. We were in a bit of situation to find last minute accommodation. Shamil was helpful to enable the check in at 10pm. This was a huge relief for us. A great host!

We had a fantastic time with our family at villa Salina. It is really recommended to celebrate your vacation in this house. Everyone was waiting for us. We had a fantastic meal. Wonderful swimming.

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

Someone says that the road is noisy, yes, there is a road, but guys, you didn't come here to sit at home, get up and explore, so that nothing wakes you up at night! Amazing place, location and people, thank you!

Amazing host and the space was extremely homely. It was picturesque and exactly as the photos advertised. The amenities were functional and the space in itself was well maintained and clean. It was an Eco-friendly abode. It was a calm and peaceful stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but the distance to other restaurants and shops were pretty close by and walkable. Transportation was also easily available.

Jula and Suranga (whose house it is and who lives there with his lovely family) were super responsive and proactive in communication. The house is right across the street from the beach and just a few minutes' drive from nice places like Shanti Shanti or Wijaya Beach. Suranga and his family had prepared a welcome snack when we arrived and even invited us to a home-cooked Sri Lankan breakfast one morning. The apartment is on the top floor of Suranga's house and looks very much like in the pictures. Note that the stairs are a bit steep, but the place has a nice small kitchen and good rooms. Also, their neighbour Assanta was a super reliable Tuk Tuk driver while we stayed there.
