Hokuriku Karuizawa, a private inn in a quiet forest

葉子Rating, 5 stars8 months ago
I left the extreme heat and bustle of Tokyo and spent 12 days from the end of July this year to the beginning of August. We had a quiet and peaceful time in the beautiful garden surrounded by fresh greenery, the sound of the trees, the sound of wild birds, and the flow of clouds. The house with full windows with a sense of liberation was a nice space where you can relax on the sofa and overlook the beautiful garden from the kitchen counter. There is a local supermarket nearby, and it was a great summer vacation to cook with fresh ingredients, and in the afternoon, I drove to Manza to Manza and into the hot springs to Kusatsu. The owner was also quick to respond before the stay, the map of the location with photos was easy to understand, and the tasteful amenities and dishes felt good by the owner. There was a power outage due to heavy rain at night during my stay, but the owner contacted me right away and didn't get scared. I want to stay here again.Thank you again for everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lifull Stay. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature. A truly relaxing and refreshing experience.

Authentic home with Private Kusatsu Onsen |Wi-Fi

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is great. Not many foreigners go to Kusatsu Onsen in the first place so the staff being friendly is great. The location is remote (about a 20 minute walk from town) and the walk gets old after about a day considering how many hills there are. I knew this when I booked the place, though. Kusatsu is worth it no matter the walk regardless. The only negative thing that I have to say about this place is that it's cold and I think the kerosene heater broke on night 2. Either that or we're just morons. Either way, fixing the room heaters should be a priority. This minor inonvenience was forgiven when the staff took us to the bus station in a snowstorm, saving us a long and brutal walk. Very kind of them.

We had a very pleasant and pleasant time at the inn! Unfortunately, it was raining on the day, but I had a lot of fun indoors even in the rain! Communication is also polite and reassuring. It is an inn that I would recommend.

Japanese style chalet in KitaKaruizawa

MikeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay. We were on a roadtrip in rural Japan and this house fit perfectly into our planning. The house is located in the cosy countryside, but nearby stores and a couple of restaurants. There was a Lawson very close, which is always a plus if you need some food or drinks. The hosts themselves were incredibly nice and friendly. They left us three beers in the fridge and left us a handwritten welcoming note (in Japanese and English)! That was a very nice personal touch. 10/10, would recommend.
