Fantastic stay at Jack’s place. Unbelievable views to wake up to each morning. Our lodge felt enormous and really high spec. The king size bed was also a welcome treat! Thoroughly recommended for a peaceful, rural stay

Rhos Rhydiol, a spacious house in the countryside

VikkiRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I really can’t recommend Rhys’s place or Rhys highly enough. Rhys was so friendly, helpful and very quick to respond to all messages. We were made to feel so welcome. The area is up in the hills and you do use small country roads to get to it, but as long as you take it slowly it’s absolutely fine. The house itself is amazing, immaculately clean, perfectly equipped and a great space to spend some peaceful family time. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs and we had plenty of space. The garden is huge with a lovely area to relax, and watch the wildlife - from sheep to hares to red kites and housemartins. You do have to drive to get to the shops, beach or attractions but it was absolutely worth it. The peace and tranquility away from the every day stresses was exactly what we wanted. It was our first trip to Wales but it won’t be our last. It’s a beautiful place and really lovely people. We highly recommend you booking if you want to get away from everything. Thank you Rhys.

Rene’s boathouse/glamping

SteveRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Spent 3 nights in this tranquil boat house - stripping everything back to basics - perfect! Nothing like a bowl wash on the deck in the morning to make you appreciate nature! Great hosts - even played pool and shared a drink on my last evening. I loved the outdoor kitchen (always wanted one) I had big plans for hikes but it was so relaxing I spent more time sleeping than doing. The boat house doesn’t have heating - thankfully, as even with just me in the place the temperate rose to a toasty 25 degrees - warmer than home with central heating 😂 I’ll certainly be making a return trip 😀

Had a lovely mid-week stay at the cottage. It was cosy, with good facilities and personal touches including the delicious homemade brownies. Tara was a great host, with clear communication and recommendations for the local area. I'd definitely stay again.
