Cottage vacation rentals in Aberdeen

We spent a marvellous long weekend in Collieston. The cottage’s location is unbeatable with south facing windows looking over the sea and the harbour a stones throw away. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The check in process was easy and as described. Our hot tub was out of order, so the owner kindly arranged for us to use on nearby. As an FYI to potential guests, there is no freezer or microwave in the kitchen! Other than that, our stay was impeccable.

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Beautiful location, cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Property had everything we needed. Stunning views from the Hot Tub. Host recommend booking a meal at local hotel and it was fantastic. Would highly recommend Brae Cottage.

Shaun and Nici’s place was beautiful, fully enclosed which was great for the dog he also loved his weekend away. Wood fired hot tub was amazing! Hosts were lovely people. Thanks for welcoming us.

Fantastic stay at Capo Farmhouse. Brilliant location, gorgeous house and a very helpful and very responsive to any questions or help that we required. We stayed for a special birthday and felt right at home and staying with Caroline made our special trip extra perfect.

Beautiful setting and high standard of cleanliness. House finished to a great standard and had everything we needed. Celebrated my 40th (12 of us) and it was perfect. Louise left a personalised note with a few bottles of fizz for us which I thought was lovely. Would recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay in Butlers cottage. The attention to detail and interior was incredibly thought out, we have never stayed in such a beautiful cottage. The fires were lit upon our arrival and ross was there to welcome us in and show us around. He was genuinely one of the nicest hosts we have met, you can tell he’s passionate about what he does by how incredibly presented everything was. The garden and grounds were stunning, plenty of routes to walk the dog and plenty of places to sit and take in the surroundings. The cottage is tucked away, very nice and private yet still easy to get to and close to the little shop! which we loved. We bought the homemade rolls kit and they were to die for, easy to make and ended up with loads of them to take home. We will without a doubt be back again soon, we didn’t want to leave!!!

She recommended a fantastic restaurant which we went to on the Friday evening loved it, thank you so much Kath, thank you for being an amazing host. Wonderful, peaceful place to stay; clean, comfortable, really well equipped with lots of little extras which made it stand out. Just one little suggestion would be to provide some information on local attractions and places to visit. Jacqueline was super helpful when we needed her help and overall a fab place to stay.

A very comfortable, clean and warm house to stay in with private garden and parking. We had a great week visiting local places then relaxing in the house in the evening.

Super spot, spotlessly clean and a very cute building. We enjoyed our short stay in the Lodge. Ideal for any group except perhaps small children. Appreciated the log fire on a very driech weekend.

The cottage and lcoation are absolutely beautiful; it was perfect for a weekend of walking with my two dogs and relaxing in the evening by the fire. Very quiet and peaceful and the back garden is fantastic. I would definetly come again if I'm back in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely and peaceful. So close to the river which is really pleasent to stroll along. Daily visits from guinea fowl added an extra bonus. Overall everything was clean but a bit more attention to detail was needed. Beds really comfy and bedrooms cosy and relaxing.

Spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Smaller sitting room with not really enough room for the table and chairs but as we didn't watch TV it didn't matter. Small kitchen. Nice garden and we even had a BBQ. Nice to be able to walk straight from the house and the Muir of Dinnet nature reserve has interesting information panels on the way round.

Our second stay in this fantastic cottage situated in a beautiful setting; the view is stunning. The interior is modern and very well appointed with two shower rooms. Located at the end of a long (beautiful) drive it is not far to farm shop for supplies, meals and much more! Banchory village is about 15 minutes drive away. On this stay we visited NT Crathes Castle, Haddo House and Pitmedden - all with amazing gardens. Catriona was again a great host and communicator - Thankyou

Nice. We lived the homey feel and the kitchen was great! Enjoyed the sheep and chickens out the windows.

Bev’s place was beautifully appointed and the additional extras - milk, coffee/tea, snacks etc were much appreciated. Bev was helpful when asked for directions to a nearby church, managing to provide a postcode. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed here.

Beautiful, peaceful place with wonderful views over fields. 15 minutes drive into Ellon on quiet road. Our trip had to be unfortunately cut short due to a family bereavement so we didn’t have time to enjoy as long as we would have liked.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here over Hogmanay. It was convenient enough to Stonehaven but was so peaceful out in the countryside. Cottage was cosy and perfect for the three of us. Great value and would return in a heartbeat.

A very comfortable stay in a well equipped village close to amazing countryside and lots of castles worth visiting. We had a great visit.
