overall rhe experience staying here with my small family was exactly what we needed. Miranda was very clear on what was expected upon arrival and departure. the location was great and the little stream in the garden was lovely to wake up too. I would definitely consider staying here if you want somewhere peaceful and not too far way from other locations, like the beach, Edinburgh and beautiful walks. ❤️ thanks Miranda for making our stay worth while.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay. The pictures really don’t do the property justice. The accommodation was spacious, modern, clean and had everything you needed… and more. The garden was just next level. It’s absolutely massive and totally enclosed with beautiful views. Honestly can’t get over how perfect this cottage was, especially when travelling with dogs. It was a definite novelty to stay in the castle grounds too. The surrounding area is also really beautiful with lots to do and see. Check in and check out were effortless and the price was incredibly reasonable. I’ll definitely be visiting again. Thanks for having us to stay, Cat.

The cottage is lovely with beautiful surroundings. The living room in particular is stunning. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Our eldest (11) loved the loft bedroom. Instructions from Liz were excellent and using what3words we found the cottage with no issues. The area is gorgeous and we saw lots of wildlife on the way which was great. The cottage is about an hour away from the centre of Edinburgh, so it’s ideal if you’re wanting to visit Edinburgh but stay away from the noise of a city. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle this cottage is definitely for you. A nice relaxing space with an enclosed private garden where you can sit with your hound and watch the birds. Rupert was a superb host, we can highly recommend the home made jam and bread!
