We had a great stay with our two young kids. Really happy we chose to base ourselves a bit higher up and off the beaten track, got to explore a different side of the island. The home is very cosy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the patio/garden and we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after putting them to bed. Lovely local wine and cheese on arrival as well, really made us feel welcome. Thank you!

Elena’s place was well provisioned and a home away from home. The outside patio was spectacular with lounges, chairs, tables, hot tub, and even a ping pong table! The one challenge was the windy roads getting there. Extraordinary scenery, but keep your eye on the road! Great home base for rock climbing at Fataga and Sorrueda.

We were travelling with two families (4 adults/4 kids) and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful finca a lot. Wonderful area, quite secluded location, very quiet, only one neighbor. Great view over the valley, nice location to explore the north of Gran Canaria. Friendly welcome by Antonio and Marta, who were always available during the stay. Very well-kept garden and plenty of play areas for the children. We highly recommend, thank you so much!

Very nice cottage, well located 10 min from Tejeda by car. Splendid view of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga! Hot tub on the terrace: excellent! Do not drive up as you will not be able to turn around. Parking on the wasteland on the left just under the houses.

We spent a fantastic week in Sergio’s house with our family. Outside, we enjoyed the glamorous roof terrace, bbq and hot tub. Inside, the view on Arucas and the sea was fantastic, both day and night. The atmosphere of the house is friendly and accommodating, with cheerful paintings and lovely bedding. We weren’t bothered at all by the few hens around, the kids loved them. Sergio was always very quick to reply, very friendly and proactive. He offered precious advise on outings to the beautiful scenery closeby. We also went to various beaches and had a great time there. This lovely house is a great place for a family, but also for couples or other groups who are looking for a warm, quiet and accommodating base for fun activities on Gran Canary!

Great stay in the house. A quite and peaceful place. House as describe: nice decoration, beautiful garden and all amenities (BBQ, Jacuzzi, stove...). Oscar is a super host, he gives us some advice about what to visit and always answer to our questions quickly. We really recommend this place.

This is a beautiful traditional house with everything you need for a relaxed holiday. We loved the sun terrace and the upstairs sitting room was a lovely place to relax in the chilly evenings. Lots of attention to detail and beautifully decorated throughout. The village shop and bar was great (not open all the time, check times locally) and we walked up to Santa Lucia a few times as well - great bakeries and other facilities. The only negative during our stay was some intrusive construction noise in the village which we understand is totally out of control of the host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staying with Miguel was great! The apartment is beautifully and quietly located, we felt right at home. Communication was also super easy. All around great!

This is a beautiful house with great amenities and a truly stunning view down towards the coast. We loved breakfasts out on the patio, and time in the pool which is maintained at the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well-appointed. It had everything we might need during our week long stay. Ramon met us at the airport to guide us to the property via a supermarket the first evening. He was very patient when the car hire desk was running slowly with only one staff member! This was extremely useful as I would say it would be very hard to find the property unaided the first time, as it is up a little lane at the far end of the village. It also needs you to go past the driveway and turn around just along the lane as it is a steep turn onto the drive itself. Having been shown it once, we had no problem with finding it again. We agree with others that a high wheelbase car is a good idea for the village roads. Overall Ramon’s place is highly recommended.

Absolutely loved Yedras villa. Stunning inside and out with super comfy beds. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos too! Looking forward to coming back x

The place is really fantastically beautiful. Quietly located in the mountains, between orange and lemon trees - perfect for relaxing. The house is clean and offers all the comforts needed for a stay. A nice bonus is the barbecue area, the outdoor shower and the beautiful terrace facing the morning sun. In one point I have to agree with the previous reviewer: The way to the accommodation really (!) requires a robust, high car and (depending on the size of the car) a certain driving experience. But since it's worth it, I'll give it 5 stars.

A beautiful mountain home, great for exploring the mountain region of Gran Canaria, and perfect for a family. We had pretty bad weather, so the pellet stove to warm up the kitchen was *very* welcome! Ana offered local suggestions and left us some local goodies to try. We had some problems with hot water for showers, but Ana is sending someone to have a look. Beautiful views and a stunning garden.

Great cabin in the mountains - one bedroom, bath and large living room shared with kitchen. A large grill area on the street and an area with sunbeds and a hammock, just like in the photos. Convenient check-in is automatic, the location is accurate, it was easy to find. We stayed in January and I was worried that it would be cold, but no, everything went well, the heaters are great and the house was warm, we heated the fireplace 2 times at the beginning. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, there are a lot of dishes and other utensils, as well as tea, coffee, oil and even spices. There are small shortcomings, but for us they were not critical: the neighbors have some kind of psarnia or something like that and periodically the dogs barked loudly, the good is not at night. The large frying pan does not fit the induction stove. Not enough light from the windows. But we enjoyed our stay overall.

We had a super nice week at Ben and Carmen's house and can fully confirm the good reviews of the other guests. The property is tastefully decorated, spacious and very well appointed. The double bed is large and very comfortable. On the terrace with the small garden you can enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the view of Santa Brigida in nice weather. With a short walk you can quickly reach the town of Santa Brigida, where there are plenty of shopping and restaurants. Ben and Carmen were great and attentive hosts who welcomed us with delicious attentions and gave many tips for our visit to Santa Brigida.

This is a beautiful and modern apartment. It was the perfect spot for my girlfriend and me. It is very peaceful and very close to the beach

A beautiful house with amazing kitchen and terrace. Morning coffee with the views was fantastic. Great location, if you are planning to do trekking on the best GC trails! The host communicates exceptionally well and is proactive. One thing you have to keep in mind is that in colder seasons you have to use the multiple heaters, including the fireplace. But that was fun and everything you need for that is provided by Carlos. In general, we loved the house and enjoyed the short commutes to trails. Remember that getting to the mountains from the coast takes time, so if you plan on hiking and don’t want to spend couple of hours in the car daily, choose this house;)

A really lovely place. Quiet, with private patio area and garden. Surrounded by gentle village life: a million miles from package holiday developments, and within reach (you need a car) of epic scale high and rugged landscapes, and myriad opportunities for walking short or long trails (whose signposting is …. OK … though not always wholly reliable - gps map on the phone is a good plan). Highly recommend restaurant Meson Los Chorros - excellent food at excellent prices

An oasis comes to mind. The house is beautiful and the garden just amazing with all the different fruit trees, some we have not even heard of before. It was peaceful with a great view of the garden and surrounding mountains. At night the moon and stars were so clear and bright. Javier the host was very helpful in every way, so easy and kind to communicate with. We highly recommend and would love to come back to stay for two weeks more.

Such a beautiful home and the pictures don't really do it justice - it is VERY steep getting into the property but that is a minor thing unless you have mobility issues. We're a family with 3 teenage kids so we were fine. Great outdoor seating areas and a perfect little outside loo by the BBQ...very useful 😉 we'll definitely be back and the host is really friendly and even brought us loads of logs for the fire when we asked...we visited in January so to cosy up by the fire in the evening was perfect. Please don't forget to water Alejandro's lovely house plants when you stay....

We significantly underestimated how beautiful Gran Canaria is, especially the valley containing Fataga. The property puts you right in amongst an incredibly beautiful surroundings, but provides a delightful, well equipped, private retreat on the edge of one of the prettiest villages around. Great stay, great host. Also, the walking/hiking in the surrounding area is excellent. Including direct from the property - true walk-in-walk-out place to stay if hiking is your thing!
