What can we say! WOW. Carinthia is gorgeous. Absolutely lovely upstairs apartment with all the amenities you could want and more. Huge living space with beautiful views out over the hills and chooks in the yard, oh and cats which we loved. Very functional kitchen including oven, cook top, bench toaster oven, Nespresso machine, fridge and dedicated guests shelf in freezer. Large Bathroom with nice big shower. Main bedroom is good size and has very comfy bed and good blackout blinds over the skylights. Heaps of storage for longer stay. Gerit and her family are super friendly and accommodating to our change in circumstances during our stay. We definitely recommend this host family, the apartment and also the gorgeous surroundings in Carinthia and Kraig. If you like Castles and ruins then you will love this area of Austria. So much to see. Thank you Gerit , Rudi and Jana for the hospitailty and traditional Austrian dinner. We might see you in New Zealand one day.

Super nice place to stay to just get some peace and distance from everyday life. Pure relaxation is particularly successful in this home. Especially with the highlights of the private sauna and hot tub. The accommodation has achieved a lot of attention to detail through its host, which gives you a special quaint and cozy ambience. Communication with the host worked great and if you had any questions, you got a super quick answer.

We felt right at home in the place! Oskar warmly welcomed us and was always available for questions. The apartment was absolutely clean and exactly as described. The view is simply fantastic! Perfect for a quick getaway! 😊💐

The apartment is super beautiful and is located in a great environment. There are many excursion destinations, from the apartment you can start beautiful hikes. From the balcony, you have beautiful views directly of the Karawanken. All in all perfect, we will be happy to come back. 😊
