Cottage vacation rentals in Yzerfontein

Wir waren bereits zum dritten mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und das sagt in meinen Augen schon vieles aus. Hazel und Christo machen den Aufenthalt jedesmal zu etwas ganz besonderem und ihre Gastfreundschaft ist einfach grandios. Die Ferienwohnung im Landhausstil verfügt über einen Pool zu privaten Nutzung und ist kindergesichert. Zusätzlich gibt es einen HotTub der bei Bedarf angeheizt werden kann. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die perfekte Sauberkeit in allen Bereichen. Die Gegend ist super angenehm, wir haben uns nie unsicher gefühlt. Es sind mehrere Geschäfte und auch Restaurants in 5min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. An die Waterfront braucht man ca. 20min und zur Canal Walk Mall sind es nur knapp 10min. Wir werden mit Sicherheit ein viertes mal kommen.

I don't know who loved the stay at the Leccino cottage more, us or our two dogs! It was so peaceful and quiet with beautiful little hiking roots around the farm and breathtaking sunsets. We especially loved the pool and hot tub which were perfect escapes from the harsh summer heat. We went on the hiking trail Leon recommended and it was nothing short of what he had promised: an interesting trail with breathtaking views! Leon was a lovely host, super responsive and helpful and we even got to take some of their delicious olive oil home (definitely buy some from him when you're there, it's so worth it!) What a lovely escape from the city, we'll definitely visit again.

Vorab schon sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin, sehr schön gelegen, das Haus sehr ruhig traumhafte Landschaft mit einem sensationellen Sonnenuntergang. Man kann bis ans Meer gucken. Auch wenn es weit weg ist. Alles neu alles sauber. Ein Haus zum Wohl fühlen. Wir kommen wieder!

Nadea’s place was so great!! My eldest daughter was crying when we left because she didn’t want us to leave. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was just real therapy being there this past weekend. My boyfriend, our 3 dogs and I stayed for my birthday weekend. The cottages are perfect, the bed is super comfy, the day bed outside the kitchen is the perfect chill spot. The donkey shower is easy to get going and gives you an amazing hot shower. Loved the little details, body scrub in the shower, cute pot of honey in the kitchen. The view is gorgeous and we even got to see a lightning storm in the valley below the cottage. You could probably hike the whole farm over a week, so many great trails to walk and run. The dam was a bonus on a hot day after a hike. The host Hope was lovely and very responsive. Would also be an epic winter getaway spot, I would have loved to get the indoor fires going. Loads of wildlife on the farm, heard baboons in the distance on the mountain, saw various bokkies, zebra & horses. Perfect place for ours dogs to roam around, they're completely exhausted. I can't fault the place, it's wonderful and I would 10/10 stay again

I use Airbnb A LOT. I book 3 or 4 places a month & I must say, this is definitely top 5 for me! We felt right at home from the moment we checked in! Jay was a ray of sunshine. Her lovely energy makes you feel like you are meeting an old friend. She took the time to read my profile & seeing that I love plants, she gave me permission to play in her garden the whole week. This was the highlight of my stay. These 2 wholesome beings are such a lovely couple that goes above & beyond to make their guests feel welcome & taken care of! Their caretaker Mr Darlington was friendly, helpful & there whenever l needed his assistance! This home is very comfortable, safe, clean & had everything we needed. It looks even better than the pictures! The outdoor garden is so cosy. You can braai or just chill & enjoy a quiet evening! check out was ofcoz sad, l wish l could’ve stayed longer. Our whole stay was exactly what my little family needed. Would definitely recommend & we plan on staying here again!

If you're looking for an authentic style fisherman's cottage on the Mosselbank side this is a great property in a great location. Shirley and her team were really helpful. We will certainly be back!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway with friends in this lovely St Helena Bay home. The space is beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The spacious kitchen and lounge with a huge fireplace were perfect for cozying up inside, while the big backyard—with a firepit and swing seat—was great for enjoying the outdoors with our dogs. We especially loved the indoor braai area with its large table, ideal for relaxed evenings with friends. The beds were super comfortable with soft linen, and the amazing selection of books was a real treat. Highly recommended!

Another wonderful stay at this cosy cottage, well appointed, perfect for families with kids and furkids, easy walk to the beach and a fun play park opposite.

Es is herrlich: morgens aufzustehen, ein Schritt und schon ist man auf der Terasse mit dem schönen Blick auf das Meer und dann noch einen Schritt weiter man ist schon am Strand: Anfang Februar fast alleine! Wenn nicht das Wasser so kalt wäre! Ein toller Platz runterzukommen und zu chillen! Aber ohne Auto keine Chance! Supermarkt, Cafes und Restaurants sind schon einige Kilometer entfernt. Aber das Restaurant DI SEE KAT in Paternoster ist ein MUSS!

We had been a little anxious about Paternoster but found the concerns about security (at least for us) not to be an issue. This cottage is stunning. Better than the pictures! Pool area feels like you’re in Greece, the beach side is definitely the Cape, and it’s breathtaking. It’s right on the beach. Lovely rustic style to the house and very comfortable. Security system in the house is reassuringly comprehensive. Great restaurants nearby (book ahead). The house is managed by a local rental office who are friendly and helpful. Janina is also very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and we hope to return.

What an amazing place! We wanted to spend some sunny days in Langebaan to celebrate our daughter's birthday and were welcomed by a beautiful balloon and chocolates. Charles, the host is amazing and took all his time to make us feel at home. The lodge is perfect for a small family but also for bigger groups. It's 50 meters from the beach and not far from some good restaurants. We had some nice cocktails while we were enjoying some amazing sunsets followed by some delicious meals. We would like to thank Charles for his hospitality and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful weekend. We were able to take our dog and enjoy long walks on the beach and a cozy fire inside to relax with a glass of wine.

This place is great as it’s located on a beach front resort. Although there are no sea views from our accommodation (which is located behind the tennis court) the beach is literally few hundred steps away~ Our favourite aspect of our stay was the friendliness / enthusiasm of the staff. They were quick to answer our questions, make helpful suggestions and even gave us an onion and a lemon from the resort kitchen for our braai. The bed was super comfy and linen was top quality and we made use of all the guest facilities including the bird hide. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to bring friends for a longer stay next time.

This is really a must stay! Such a pity we could not stay longer. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area. Although I never met Cornelle she was super friendly and accommodating!

A 1min walk across the road from the beach. Situated close to shopping malls and fun activities. Place equiped with all amenities needed. Entertainment area for fire pits and braais. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was great, awesome location right on the beach. Cosy cottage style beach living. We loved our stay and will absolutely be back. The beach access and views on the porch each night was our highlight.
