We renovated our family home, which had been vacant, and converted the entire second floor into a private vacation rental available for one group per day. Breakfast is proudly handmade with local vegetables. There is a large veranda and the view from there is amazing. You can also see Koyasan. You can also enjoy a matcha experience.(1000 yen per person) You can enjoy delicious manju buns and a cup of bitter matcha green tea. There is also a pizza oven, and you can experience making pizza (dinner). For dinner, each group can choose one option from the following: “Pizza Making Experience” (for 2 or more people), “Cheese Fondue,” “Yakiniku (Grilled Meat),” or “Takoyaki (Octopus Dumplings).”The price of dinner is 2,000 yen per person. We do not provide alcohol.Please prepare your own. If you'd like dinner or a matcha experience, please contact us at least 3 days in advance so that we can prepare the ingredients. In addition, the hot spring facility "Yunosato" is a 7-8 minute walk away. If you want to relax and warm up in the bathtub, I recommend "Yunosato". Koyasan is about 40 minutes from the nearest station. You can reach Koyasan in about 50 minutes by car. In autumn, Koyasan is absolutely beautiful with its autumn foliage. Kawano Ie Suian OKUYOSHINO is a traditional Japanese house from the late Edo period, located right by the clear waters of the Takami River, near Niu-Kawakami Shrine, which is a bit inconvenient. With a traditional tokonoma (alcove) as the focal point, you can enjoy a relaxing and carefree stay while tending to the fire—be it in the sunken hearth, the campfire, or the BBQ—all fueled by wood.Please cook for yourself in the shared kitchen and enjoy a camping-like experience. Since this is a lodging where fire is used extensively, we also prepare firewood and charcoal, and conduct safety checks and inspections of the fire at night.We hope you enjoy a traditional experience around the fire. Guests can also enjoy picking tea leaves, hiking, fishing, playing in the river, taking walks, gathering wild plants, and stargazing. For firewood, we use cedar and cypress sourced from Maruoka Zaikuten, a local supplier in Yoshinomiya-taki. We want you to enjoy a relaxing day, so we can be flexible about early arrivals, parking your car ahead of time, and even swimming in the river after check-out. There is no air conditioning, Wi-Fi, or TV. For those who want to enjoy a stay that suits their own style, surrounded by fire and water. It is an inconvenient old house.

A 5-minute drive away is the famous Ishibutai Kofun and Inaike Rice Terraces, which were selected as one of the top 100 rice terraces. You will be soothed by the warmth of the old wooden house, the flowing river, and the sound of birds. You can relax in a natural environment. Activities such as barbecues, campfires, tent saunas, and cycling are also available for a glamping experience. We do not provide dinner.
