Due to the out of the way location you ideally need transport to access the nearest shop and pub. 45 mins on foot/7 mins by car.

Beau and Bay are two semi detached holiday bungalows, which have been completely refurbished. Each offering glimpses of The Solent and within a stones throw of the beautiful Colwell bay, with its beaches and eateries. The restaurant The Hut, is a 15-20 minute walk away. We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.

Paul and Mel great hosts, nothing too much trouble. Lovely spotlessly clean accommodation which is small but very well laid out and airy with high ceilings. Lovely garden and location great for walking from door to three sides of the coastline. Large park for dog to exercise in opposite. Everything available nearby in lovely village. We really liked the location, it was an ideal base to explore the island by car. Not very far from the Needles, Yarmouth centre or Newtown national trust. The property was modern and comfortable and the host very thoughyful and responsive. We would come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at King’s Orchard. The house was perfect for our stay, with everything we needed. The extra touches like yummy fresh bread, eggs, milk and butter enhanced the experience. Susie has thought of everything to make your stay and real home from home. Anytime I had a question Susie answers super quickly and even gave us a coffee machine when I enquired if there was one! The views, peaceful surroundings, coastal walks and cycle routes are all right on your doorstep. Highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be back !

Peaceful, small but perfectly formed little hideaway. Pubs and cafes walking distance, welcoming host who is extremely responsive to any queries, spotless home from home, extra special touches like milk and OJ in the fridge, fancy coffee and proper kitchen if you wanted to cook. Bed was super comfortable king size, and such a quiet place to recharge. Appreciated the doggy treats and doggy extras and an incredible park opposite which was fantastic.
