We had the best stay with RYU! The family is very hospitable and kind. We were super impressed from our first communications with RYU. He was always available and made our stay well worth it. His mom and dad are the most kind and generous. They made reservations for us at a local restaurant and the food was fantastic. My daughter and her Fiance stayed with RYU last year and gave rave reviews. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely stay. Instructions are clear on how to use the house. Enjoyed sitting outdoors and also view from the back. Note the steps leading to the house. Highly recommend. Friendly responsive owner. We had car so location is fine.

시모노세키가기 전 들렸습니다. 좋은가격에 료칸체험을 할 수 있어 좋습니다. 가이세키는 없지만 바로 앞에 편의점도 있고 차량으로 식당을 가기도 괜찮습니다. 개인탕은 없고 공중목욕탕같은 느낌입니다. 문신한 사람들이 꽤 있었지만 자국에서 익숙한 풍경이여서 별로 신경쓰이진 않았습니다. 노천탕은 2명 많게는 3명 정도 들어갈 크기지만 비맞으면서 즐기던 노천탕이 제일 만족스러웠습니다. 유카타도 지급되니 우베를 들리시면 추천드립니다.

100% recommend this place. Kumi is really nice and replied superfast. Still the room felt very private (quiet and windows to the outside) and everything was super clean. We traveled with a little one and she made sure we had everything we need (even a diaper trash she prepared for us without us asking for it). The room is very traditional with the tatami-flooring and the futons. We had some of the best nights sleep of our entire trip here. ✨ Thanks a lot!
