Family stay. My parents from abroad were also very happy. The kitchen is spacious, with all the chopsticks, plates, knives, pots, etc., so you can bring only ingredients! Even though it was an old house, the water area was beautiful. There was also karaoke for an additional fee, which made it a good memory. The owner was very kind and responsive, thank you very much for your response. Thank you!

A great escape from the city, felt like we were the only tourists on the island. It was so beautiful and such a peaceful place to hangout for a few days. This Airbnb is way way bigger than the pictures. It sort of felt like it was actually someone’s home we were living in and was a comfy stay. Highly recommend coming here with a car, there was no busses (maybe some irregular ones) and not really any taxis. Taxi costed us 3000 yen from the ferry. In the end, the hosts drove us to our ferry when we left. Was an amazing and interesting Airbnb experience, I’ve never had hosts like this! On first day they Invited us out for coffee. Last day, threw us a goodbye party and gave us tons of food. We wish we could stay here forever. Full kitchen equipped with cooking supplies and ceramic dishware. Short walk from the beach. If you don’t have a method of transportation you will sort of be stuck in the Airbnb, which isn’t so bad because it was so beautiful. Was a little confusing to locate the Ai

We loved our stay at Koukasha's. A beautiful place stay in stunning natural surroundings, we wish we could have stayed longer! Staff were super friendly and accommodated my dietary requirements for breakfast which was delicious!! We will have to come back and try the sauna too!

Support from the hosts was very friendly.They also told me about recommended restaurants.It was the first time I had tried Wassoba, and it was exquisite.It was in a beautiful natural location with both the sea and stars.The whole family is very satisfied! It was a place I'd like to go in the summer. It was a two-day, one-night trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture, located in the middle of Karatsu Market and Kakushima Bridge, and I enjoyed it.

The response to the inquiry in advance was also very quick and the anxiety was resolved.We had a worry-free stay with all the facilities and a clean environment during our stay.There was also a wooden deck, which was surprisingly stylish!I didn't use it because it was late at night, but I hope to relax outside if I have the opportunity to stay again!I was tired when I returned from snowboarding, but I had a very relaxing time and a satisfying stay. I’m at a loss for words to fully describe my incredible stay with Ken and Saki-san. From the moment they picked me up from the station—when I couldn’t quite figure out the local bus—they welcomed me with genuine warmth and kindness. They greeted me like family, offering a hot cup of tea upon my arrival and preparing a delicious homemade dinner, even though they didn’t have to. In today’s world, where Airbnb stays often feel more like a mere place to sleep, this experience was something truly special, far exceeding any expectations. Their children were absolutely delightful, and I had so much fun spending time with them. Staying in Koenji, a peaceful farming town, in a traditional Machiya house, made me feel like I was part of their world. Ken and Saki are self-sufficient farmers who grow their own rice and vegetables, and their deep connection with nature was inspiring. Ken and Saki’s hospitality was beyond anything I could imagine, I’m grateful and honored for spending time with them

We stayed at Miki's house for 7 days. The house was truly wonderful for our family of 6. Miki was quick to respond to all of our questions and with recommendations. The house reminded me of my mother's house when she grew up in Japan. The style of the house is a traditional Japanese house with modern updates go the bathrooms, bedrooms, air conditioners, etc. We absolutely loved our stay here. The only downside of staying in Iwakuni is it's outside of the range for Uber, Didi, etc, so you'll need to call to make reservations ahead for a taxi. If you have more than 4 people in your group, you'll need to call a day or 2 before to reserve a jumbo taxi. For us, Iwakuni was a wonderful place for us to stay and easy to get to Hiroshima in approx. 45 minutes to an hour. I cannot say enough how lovely Miki's house is. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Japan. Thank you for your hospitality, Miki! This was a trip we will always remember!!

I loved the beautiful surroundings. It was a very quiet and pleasant experience. The night of check in, I was unsure of which building i had to enter. Thankfully the owner replied to my question extremely fast! In the morning, we chatted for alittle before i left. They are warm and friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. Thank you!

The Kagawa house was really a refuge for me when I came to Japan. Peaceful, surrounded by nature, I immediately felt at home when I walked through the entrance door and was greeted by the volunteers who I quickly became friends with. The house is very cozy and rustic, which is totally my style of vacation! I also enjoyed a lot of time with Mesh, the dog of the Kagawa house. I had such a good time. When I was about to leave, the host even offered me to stay longer for a discount and I wish I could have said yes if my travel plans would have allowed it. I’ll definitely return some day! Until then, fare well!

This is a home in a traditional Japanese home. The host is very friendly and accommodating. He is a fisherman and offers dishes from his fish in his coffee. This is a perfect and quiet stop to visit Hiroshima, Miyajima and beach/hike.

The place is centrally located and very convenient to visit all over the island. A short walk to ferry dock and free island bus stop. This place is still being under renovation so it may take you in surprise. The room I stayed was finished and had everything I needed. Had a great view of the main mountain from the bedroom window. A great place to stay! Highly recommend!

The people who manage this place are incredibly friendly and really care about what they do, they are very capable people and I really enjoyed my stay. The area is beautiful, and mash the dog is so cute! I took him on a walk through the hills twice and he loved it.

Host was super helpful and kind even driving us to a supermarket a drive away when we didn’t bring food and he checked in with us again later in the evening. We were there in January winter but during public holidays so we got caught out with no local supermarket or restaurants open so make sure you bring enough food for dinner.
