Monthly Rentals in Yaeyama District

This was by far the best private accommodation I've visited so far. I was fortunate to be the only guest in this typical traditional Japanese house. The service was excellent and went far beyond the accommodation description. I was picked up from the airport, as no transfer to the accommodation was possible around the landing time and I was also taken back there on the day of departure. A first purchase, supply of medication (I had a cold) and a reservation for the nearby restaurant (only about 50 m away with a special recommendation) made the stay special. Many thanks to Kyohei!!!

I had a difficult stay in an old-fashioned Okinawan house. I think it was difficult to maintain in an old house, but the air conditioning and gas streets were good and well-maintained. Above all, it is a house, so no matter how noisy the children are, you don't have to worry about the surrounding inconvenience.I was very grateful because the hotel was difficult to find on the island, and I thought it would be a nuisance to the neighbors if it was a minsu. I added one person for the second night, but they were flexible despite last-minute communication.He also accommodated a consultation about the checkout time. There are grasslands and mountains in front of you, and the scenery and air are outstanding.I think it's very good for insects to experience island life, including things that are close to you!

Traditional Japanese style. Stocked kitchen made convenient to do your own cooking with a small grocery a short walk away. WiFi worked great. I recommend bringing a deck of cards or games for evening entertainment.

The house is old Okinawan style, well maintained and nicely decorated. Rey is very environmentally concerned, which felt like a relief after almost a year spent in Tokyo. Finally Iriomote is wild and beautiful, a place where you can reconnect with Nature, its sounds and rhythm. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back! Ps: We were there with 2 kids of 10 and 8yo, who loved the house which felt like a cabin.
