Our small 13 meter long houseboat Lore is located in the inner harbor of Duisburg, 3 minutes from the city center in one of the trendiest areas of the city: the inner harbour. The Lore has two spacious bedrooms, a roof terrace with lounge furniture, a small covered terrace, a living room with a direct view of the water, a kitchen and of course a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Lore is winter festival and can be booked 365 days a year. We have had three boats in the harbor since 2025.

The name reveals that you have a view of fields, meadows and the Rhine bridge Wesel. From us, there are a variety of bike paths to discover the Lower Rhine. The apartment is for 2-4 people. A very enjoyable visit! The apartment is close to the Südsee, very good for a visit in Xanten whether you're on a weekend getaway or enjoying a longer stay. Very well stocked kitchen, and everything was clean and neat.

We had a great time with Marco and Marie-Helene. The space was really beautiful and luxurious. We had plenty of space for ourselves and the surroundings are wonderfully quiet. The hosts are very friendly. We were served at our beckons. We would definitely like to come back for a longer stay.

A clear blue lake is seen with gentle ripples created by a person swimming in the center. The shoreline features a sandy area leading to the water, with aquatic plants visible beneath the surface. Lush greenery is visible on the opposite bank.

We had an amazing two nights stay at the caravan, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and farm animals. We were in main contact with Ruth, who was exceptionally considerate and did all she could to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. We also met Ludger who was also very kind and welcoming. As well as the rest of the farm team. They were kind to pick us up and bring us to the train station when arriving and departing, which was very helpful as the farm otherwise is difficult to reach by public transport. We lended bikes and explored the idyllic landscape and surrounding towns, cooked dinner with the most tasty potatoes from the farm and played around with the sweetest two dogs Emma and Marley. All in all a fantastic stay, and if the opportunity arises again we would love to come back. Thank you Schanzenhof! <3

We had a great time at Philipp's place. The house was spacious and could easily fit 6/7 persons. It was very clean and well equipped. The highlight is of course the beautiful garden that is well maintained. The pictures do not do justice to its beauty. The house is ideally located and near Wesel and Xanten. You can easily reach to the key places. Philipp and his mother have both been fantastic, easy to communicate and helpful. Thank you so much. We can only recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Veen very much. We will definitely be back!! The apartment is much nicer in "nature" than in the photos. It has charm and is furnished and decorated with a lot of love for detail by Silke. In addition, it was sparkling clean and equipped with everything your heart desired. From Veen, we took fantastically beautiful bike tours. The location of the apartment was ideal for excursions to Xanten (5 KM), Kevelaer, Rees and many other beautiful places. Since we haven't been able to explore everything in four days, we will definitely be back. Absolutely great!
