Really lovely stay, clean and great communication from the host throughout! Would reccommend.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cottage retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed. The setting is beautifully private—perfect for escaping the noise. We were greeted with a welcome package including snacks, a bottle of fizz, and clear instructions. It instantly made us feel at home. One highlight was the Jacuzzi—incredible! It was spotless and ready to go, with soft towels provided. We appreciated the natural shower products, which made the experience feel more luxurious. Communication with the hosts was easy. We were given a direct line and they responded quickly to any questions. The overall vibe of the place was calm and rejuvenating, a true hidden gem. It’s only about a 15-minute drive to nice local shops and restaurants, so you're not far from anything. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about our return. Highly recommend this cozy escape—we’ll definitely be back someday.

Great cosy stay in a great location. Need to make sure you get the exact location before getting there as there’s no signal, so took us a while to locate the exact door. It does recommend this in the check instructions.

Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

Great place to stay, bonus having three bathrooms and a downstairs toilet with five adults. Hot tub was very relaxing after exploring the area all day.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a lovely touch and felt very private. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fantastic property for a chilling out experience. Beautiful scenery at the back of the house with great hot tub, bbq and fire pit. Gemma was very warm and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend this property for a first rate stay.

Massive thank you to Paul and Sarah. We had a truly fantastic time, our daughter loved being a mini farmer for the weekend, she has not stopped talking about our stay since we have arrived home! Paul was very responsive to any questions we had, the accommodation was clean and had everything we wanted and more! We loved the location and having such beautiful walks right from the doorstep. We will absolutely be back, thanks again for a great stay.

If you want tranquility,a high end property with its own private stretch of the river Dove and a host who is friendly and welcoming …….this is it.

It is our 2nd time here and will definately not be our last. A fantastic Air BnB, with everything you could wish for and things you would not think to bring - flask, backpack, maps, provisions for dog, plenty of books, candles. I could go on, but not enough space! I would thoroughly recommend this place, Bakewell town centre is only a short walk away. The decor is truely wonderful and everything has been done to a very high standard. Thank you for an amazing holiday

It was so relaxing to be beside the Canal watching the narrow boats go by. We loved the ducks that came our door. We fed them potatoes as bread is bad for them.The tow path was great for walking. Pubs adjacent to property....we had a lovely time! Nice place.

Great little cottage in the heart of the Peak district, perfect for our family to use as a base to explore Mam tor, Castleton, Bakewell and the Monsal trail. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare, so would recommend using the gravelled space behind the gates.

Such a cute stay with beautiful surroundings. Roger and Caroline were lovely hosts. The welcome package was such a bonus, and the amenities laid out were really thoughtful. Absolutely would go back.

Another enjoyable stay in the cottage which was cosy, comfortable and felt like home. It is very well equipped with everything you need to provide a perfect holiday and in an excellent location convenient for all local amenities within walking distance to Crich. Roy and Anne are excellent hosts, very approachable and quick to respond to messages. Roy came to the cottage on the day we arrived responding to a small issue which we had, this was resolved and then he told us of some places where we could go for walks. A big thank you to Roy and Anne as this is one of the best Air b&b’s we have stayed in and will definitely be back.

Our stay at Butchers Cottage could not have been any better. The property is immaculate and the decor has been beautifully done. Shops, Pubs and Takeaways are within a 5 minute walk. Sally, the host is a lovely person, great communication and will go out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect. An all round 5⭐ stay. Nick & Tracey

The best Air BnB experience by far. It felt brand new, spotless, and every touch extremely well thought of and considerate. They even had a welcome hamper! You can see sheep and a horse grazing peacefully in the back over the fence. Paul & Elizabeth were so warm and checked in to see if we were having a good time. The house is beautiful and impeccably maintained! Friendly and professional hosts!

We had a great stay at Cheese Press Cottage. The location was fantastic and the cottage was so well kitted out. Would definitely recommend.

Alex’s place was wonderful, it’s so beautiful & lots of thoughtful amenities such as spare toothpaste, rennies, feminine hygiene products etc, as well as welcome pack of biscuits & sweets. Really were lovely extra touches. Alex was really accommodating with any requests we had & it’s a beautiful house in a beautiful area. We come to the area once a year and will certainly look to book again as it was perfect for our needs.

Jackie's cottage was perfect as a base whilst we visited family locally. Cosy, well proportioned, and in a great location.

Just returned from a wonderful 4 night break at Harewood Cottage. The cottage was cosy, clean, beautifully appointed and an easy walk to the trails from the doorstep. It was very peaceful and private and to sit in the garden in the sun was a lovely, unexpected treat. So quiet, just birds chirping in a beautiful setting. Julia was a perfect host, thank you 🤩

Beautiful property renovated to a very high standard. The underfloor heating was lovely when returning on a cool evening. Superb location in Bakewell with Pubs and eateries on the doorstep. Perfect for exploring the beautiful Peak District. Will definitely return.
