Explore the Cotswolds From a Charming Home

The Coach House is a beautiful studio that features a spacious layout of off-white walls, high ceilings, and hardwood floors. Relax on the sofa as sunlight streams in through the window and curl up with a book on the plush rocking chair. This light and airy studio is the perfect base for couples (with or without babies/toddlers) wishing to discover the Cotswolds. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre and is a mere two minutes walk to Burford's famous Garden Company. This country retreat is ideal for accessing the many pubs, restaurants and shops to be found locally. The Coach House has its own front door and once you have climbed one flight of stairs, is generously proportioned and on one level. Coats and boots can be left in the lower lobby. Secure storage for bikes can be arranged if requested in advance. The fully fitted kitchen comprises:- an electric oven/grill, four gas hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso Machine (additional capsules may be purchased), washing machine, under counter fridge with integrated icebox, glassware, crockery and pans. There is more than enough to self cater but should you require anything else, please ask and we will endeavour to obtain it. Breakfast can easily be found at the Garden Centre or in town. However, we are very happy to source some breakfast provisions locally at extra cost. The seating area comprises; a three seater sofa and a padded rocking armchair. There is a small TV and DVD player. A highchair, travel cot and toddler bed can also be provided if requested. Guests are welcome to sit in the vegetable garden and walk around the garden but we regret that we cannot grant access to the trampoline and pool. The Coach House is an integral part of our home (with its own entrance) and so we tend to be available during your stay. We are always happy to recommend local eateries and attractions. Coach House is just a 15-minute walk to the town centre where friendly family-owned restaurants, independent cafes, and unique boutiques await. Head to Burford's famous Garden Company and enjoy going for a hike in the area. Burford town centre is easily walkable. To explore the wider area travel by car or bike is recommended. Charlbury Train Station is 15 minutes by car/taxi. There is off-street parking for one vehicle only and we would ask that you access the drive slowly to avoid coming into contact with our children and animals. We have five lovely chickens which reside in a spacious run and two kittens! Please be aware that the Coach House is situated in a rural area and therefore the Wi-fi connectivity and strength can be variable. Guests are required to leave the property clean & tidy.

Kate’s place was amazing! Such a great little spot right on the edge of the Cotswolds in the lovely town of Carterton. Perfect if you’ve got a dog - the ground floor studio has its own private garden which was super handy. The place was spotless and really cozy. We had an awesome stay and will definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay at Lorraine’s Annex Airbnb. Everything was as described. Because of the very hot weather we were given a cool sheet to make the sleeping situation easier. However there was also a fan to aid the temperature. Everything was provided and besides milk and fruit juice, Lorraine also provided breakfast cereal, coffee and tea. The apartment is beautifully appointed and we felt very much at home. The distance to Blenheim to visit the Nocturne concerts was ideal. Meeting Lorraine and her husband we found them very helpful and friendly. We felt that they had gone out of their way to provide everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend this venue in a delightful village in the Cotswolds.

I always stay at Jo's when I come to Kidlington to visit my father. Jo makes it feel like a second home, everything is perfect and I wouldn't choose anywhere else

Just finished another weeks stay in Lawrence property. As usual Lawrence was on hand to solve any queries. Check in was easy with clear instruction and the Loft was clean and spacious. The complimentary breakfast was greatly appreciated. The area is vey quite and peaceful with plenty of wildlife and I especially liked seeing the family of bats every evening. Perfection - My family and I spent the weekend in the area, visiting Diddly Squat Farm and The Farmer's Dog. Justine's property was in the perfect location, just a short drive away. We had a great stay! The place was nice and clean, with everything we needed and also comfortable beds! It was an easy walk into town (about 10-15 mins), and the host was very responsive and helpful. A couple of small things—entrance key was a bit tricky, but Spencer has always responded and fixed the issue. Highly recommended!

The instructions provided everything we needed and more - and Jenny was immediately responsive and polite when I realised I'd not read them😬. The flat was immaculate and provided a great bolt hole for our touristy activities. Being RSC novices, we have resolved to return and hope to stay here again.

The location is very quiet and there is a big grocery store right next to it. The shared kitchen and terrace is lovely. There are also nice walks nearby.

Particularly liked that it was over the garage, so we didn’t have to worry about our toddler crying or making noise throughout the night. Bathroom is down a fairly steep set of stairs - so if mobility is an issue that might be a challenge.

Sandip's property is fantastic. This is the second time we have visited and felt comfortable, welcome and right at home. Honestly, one of the best properties on airbnb we have stayed in, perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness.

I always stay with Aakanksha when I'm in Reading. The property has all the essential amenities and is only 10 minutes walk from the town centre. The place is clean and warm and homely. The host is a fantastic host. She goes out of her way to help you. She's very helpful with quick and easy communication. And she makes check in very easy and stree-free. I'm always made to feel welcome. I would recommend staying with Aakanksha if you're staying in Reading. Brilliant host.
