Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Winterthur

For us this was perfect “home base” away from home full of old Swiss rustic charm and private. Very well equipped kitchen, home is spacious, clean and cozy, laundry room came really handy as well. Great location - away from hustle and bustle of Zurich but short distance from it and from the airport as well. Many great day trips possible within 5 min drive up to an hour drive. Grocery store 3 min walk away. Thomas is friendly and super easy to communicate with. We also found great restaurant 5-8 min drive - Gasthof zum Kreuz - shout out to the owner - very friendly made us feel like family - food was great, nice atmosphere and good prices. Grateful we got to experience it all.

We had a wonderful time with Daniel and Martin. Everything was perfect - and so we could fully enjoy our little break from the first minute of our arrival. A cozy home with fireplace, sauna, a nice little garden and a great view, a beautiful landscape and hiking trails right outside the front door. The apartment has everything it needs to feel at home immediately. Everything is very tasteful and very lovingly furnished, everything is very clean and well maintained. A big thank you to Martin and Daniel for the uncomplicated communication, the very warm welcome and the many useful pieces of information and tips. A big thank you but also for the very delicious stone oven bread. This is pure hospitality! We are very much looking forward to our next visit with Martin and Daniel, two wonderful hosts.

Philipp's place was neat and clean. The rooms looked exactly like the pictures. The kitchen offered sufficiently good amenities and had everything you need. The decor was discreet and tasteful. The environment is very quiet and relaxing. There was ample parking. In the area there were some beautiful hiking trails and various excursion destinations to reach in about 30 minutes. Overall highly recommended!

The place is large, bright, even prettier in person than in the pictures. The kitchen is very nice and open to the dining area and living room. The bathroom is very large and functional. Our dogs really enjoyed the fenced garden. Peaceful environment, forest accessible on foot and good starting point by car for getaways in the Black Forest. Walter was very responsive to our questions. The only thing to improve would perhaps be to have access to a washing machine for long stays and a welcome booklet.

The apartment is very cute and cosy and had everything I needed. The view from the balcony is magical. Aylin was really helpful and communicative, I would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay with amazing view, this place very close to ski for winter time and lake at summer time! Sauna is a big bonus, unfortunately pool was closed (I guess because it’s not a season), but I would love to jump into it after sauna😅!! Place was clean and have everything you need.

It is a small but warm apartment and very comfortable for 4 people, very clean, tidy and decorated. The pool is a plus. I would point out that the apartment is incredibly equipped with everything a family may need, even details such as movies, games, candles, glue, bags, aluminum foil, condiments, toiletries and cleaning products... you just need to bring your clothes and food. Claudia kindly welcomed us with Easter decorations and sweets. The village is very nice and quiet. Highly recommended, thanks Claudia 🥰

We stayed at Sidney's great place for 2 days, the photos reflect the found apartment 1:1. Sidney was always available in under 1 hour and also often offered her help if something comes up, we were super satisfied! We particularly liked the location, the view and the sauna. We would love to come back again, thanks Sidney :)

We can only recommend a stay in Manuel and Lisa's cottage. The two are great hosts and everything was as described. We felt right at home. Even our dog was thought of and he had his own cozy basket in the accommodation, which he would have preferred to take with him ;) The house is quietly located and allows many great activities in the area. We will be happy to come back!

Even before the start of our trip, we had such a friendly contact with Petra and Roger. Everything went wonderfully from start to finish. The place is a dream, clean, beautifully decorated, with plenty of privacy and with everything your heart desires🙏❤. The location is perfect, with many possibilities for excursions (Wutach Gorge, Schluchsee, Rhine Falls, Titisee, Lake Constance, Zurich and much more). A perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet in the countryside and still be able to see a lot. We had a very nice stay with Amanda and Will. Their place is an easy walk to the Lindt factory and the lake is very close. We were travelling with a young child and the washer and dryer and ability to cook were a huge plus. Public transit by bus or boat are a few minutes away on foot. A great place and a great neighborhood.

My husband and I were super happy with the place. Great location with views of the great mountains. Breakfast on the terrace with mountain views. Starting point for great hikes. Nice uncomplicated hosts. And the apartment is great. We would definitely go back.

A nice little house directly on the lake. Pure relaxation with sauna and enough space for four to sit on the sofa. You are quickly in the city or in the mountains and various shopping facilities are available nearby. Lovingly decorated and cozy. Very nice contact and impeccable communication.
