The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

Simple 2 bedroom duplex (pet friendly but no cats)

Simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. We accept pets, but no cats due to our allergy, sorry!! Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay. Place is very beautiful and peaceful. Place is super clean and spacious and not far from town. Jennifer is a great host.

An open living space features a cozy seating area and a kitchen bar with four black metal stools. A wall-mounted TV is visible, and a doorway leads to the kitchen area, where stainless steel appliances are present. Natural light enhances the inviting atmosphere through the front door.

Place was just as expected. Owner was very accommodating with a special request. It was cold at night and with the space heater they had and the window air/heat unit we stayed nice and cozy. Plenty of extra blankets and all the laundry smelled nice and fresh!

Had my daughters birthday party here. Had a sleep over. Lots of space. Pool was clean had everything you would need and more. Beautiful home would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Me and my wife were in town for a wedding and were looking for a nice quite place to lay our heads. This is exactly what we got. place was very private on a beautiful Christmas Tree Farm. Place had everything we needed and the location was even better. Great host and and a great place. Will book again.
