Vacation rentals in Runnels County

Place was just as expected. Owner was very accommodating with a special request. It was cold at night and with the space heater they had and the window air/heat unit we stayed nice and cozy. Plenty of extra blankets and all the laundry smelled nice and fresh!

My husband and I wanted to find a place that was quiet, private, and beautiful scenery. Chaos Ranch is exactly what we needed. Chandra and Jared were the most wonderful hosts. They took us on a tour of their gorgeous ranch, introduced us to their amazing rescue donkeys, and made sure we were safe during the crazy Texas weather. It was a great place to stay. I had a tiny bit of trouble finding the place at first but it was late and dark by the time I arrived. It took me a couple of tries to get the lock open because I wasn't pressing the buttons hard enough I think. It was a VERY spacious place with all of the comforts of home. It is exactly as described in the ad. The street noise didn't bother me much, it settles down around 11PM and I slept fine. All in all, it was a great experience.

My wife and I loved this small home in Ballinger! It was the cleanest and most practical setting we have utlized in the last 9 years of traveling. At first we were concerned about the location and surroundings but that quickly changed once we pulled up. Everything was so awesome and to have a carport covering for our vehicle put it over the top! And the communication of our host was quick and friendly. The only negativity we can mention was the late street traffic noise which our hosts could not control. We will definitely be returning to this home on our next trip to the Abilene /San Angelo area! Great little secret in Ballinger Texas😁

We were in town for a family celebration. We were pleased with the accommodations. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having the living room space as well as the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again for future visits to this area.

Love having the Lofts to stay in whenever we are in Miles to visit family. Had a little trouble with the lock mechanism to get in, but Lyndsey was responsive and helpful even though it was late at night. She stayed on the phone with us and helped us find a code that allowed access. The Loft was clean, had plenty of room, and a functional, kitted out kitchen which met all our needs. Looking forward to a repeat visit.

Mr. Pat was a great host and any question we may have had. His property is absolute amazing with the west Texas views. If we’re ever back in the area we will book again.

Barbara was a wonderful host! Great stay and sent a very nice message thanking my son for his service when she found out he was in the Air Force. We will return if we have to be in Winters.
