What a beautiful place! Definitely a cool experience to stay in an authentic piece of history- with the necessary climate control and some modern comforts. The farm was peaceful, immaculately kept and just a lovely spot on this earth.

Instructions were clear and detailed, the house was clean and quaint, and Eric is super responsive. Great experience all around.

Enjoyed our stay very much. House was very cool and comfortable. Beautiful setting with overlook of the river Unfortunately, due to the weather, didn't get much chance to use the trails near the house - but were @ 25 min from hikes at Pilot Mountain. Communication was terrific - and the extra info about finding house came in very helpful. Enjoyed stay and would book again if traveling to the area.

From the welcoming lanterns on the porch, to the blankets already situated in all the cozy chairs and rockers, to the robes ready for the hot tub, everything was ready to start relaxing from the moment of arriving. The wine, cold drinks, a variety of snacks, and candy dishes were the most abundant I’ve seen in all of my Airbnb experiences. There were friendly family dogs for canine company (as desired!). We could have stayed a week in order to fully enjoy all of the offerings. We really hope to get back - it really was perfect!

Mark & Nikki's historical home is beautiful, rustic and peaceful, set on a sweet little farm. The home brings you back in time, the woodwork and furnishings are breathtaking. Mark & Nikki were very attentive hosts, answering all my questions very quickly. The little things like coffee, tea and bathroom toiletries gave it that added touch, they cared about making us feel comfortable. The pictures and amenities on the website description are very accurate, however, it's much better in person! I had an amazing experience hosting my 50th birthday costume party with a Bridgerton theme at this wonderful venue. I only dealt with Meagan, and she was so sweet every time. She is extremely personable and easy to talk to, which made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. Needless to say, the location was the perfect backdrop for picture posing—its elegant decor and timeless ambiance elevated our celebration to a whole new level. We were transported straight into the Regency era, making it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to throw a themed party that truly impresses!

Lovely cabin home, matching decor, fully stocked, comfy mattresses, and great amenities. Felt private but was close to extracurricular activities we had planned (spa, winery, steakhouse). Enjoyed the hot tub and wanted to have smores at the firepit (compliments of the host!) but the windy weather made a fire unsafe. Maybe next time!
