Cottage vacation rentals in Winona Lake

It was a great little getaway place for my husband and I. It was smaller than expected, but still worked out perfectly for the 2 of us. The hot tub was great! Kitchen is well stocked, and the place was very clean!

Beautiful home. The square footage may seem small, but it makes great use of the space. Only 5 minutes from the town and right on the lake. Clare was extremely helpful and responsive even over a holiday weekend.

It was a beautiful cottage and we enjoyed our stay very much. We really appreciated the snacks and other things laid out for us. We would definitely love to come back and stay again in the summer!

I loved every second of my stay at this sacred little space. The bonfire pit, the hammock, the pergola were all so welcoming on this beautiful spring weekend. I spent time every day in the hot tub, which was amazingly clean and peaceful. Although the outdoors is shared, it's plenty spacious and I felt like I had 100% privacy all weekend long. The house itself is PERFECT. It's small but spacious. The bathroom is top notch. The tiny kitchenette was all I needed. I brought my mini airfryer and was completely happy. All of the special touches made the decor so interesting and unique. Got to spend some time in Goshen and in Elkhart to shop and eat. I left feeling absolutely recharged. This is going to be on my tiny house rotation for sure. Highly recommend. If I could give ten stars, I would.

Great location! Clean and spacious!

It's a beautiful location with the lake right out the front door. The place could use some updating, especially the mattresses and bathrooms, but it was definitely what we expected for a charming little lake house! We had a wonderful time, and you can tell Karen and her family love their home. Lots of things to do, right by a grocery store, and plenty of room for a comfortable stay. We'll be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Don's cottage. Plenty of space for four people, and the kitchen had much of what we needed. The area was quiet and easy to get to, both from the road and the lake, via the channel. We brought our own boat. I would recommend renting Don's if you don't have one. Don was very responsive leading up to and during our stay. We would defintiely come back.

I enjoyed my stay at the lakefront cottage and the beautiful view of the lake. The home was very clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. My small dog enjoyed fenced backyard and always wanted to go back outside.

This place is the ultimate get away from everything location! It is remote and quiet. The perfect place to go and just read a book or even take some of your crafts to work on. It is beautiful and quiet. I also love that we were able to bring our dog. My husband and I just went through a catastrophic event and we needed to get away for a few days. This is exactly what we needed. This place felt familiar and like home from the moment we arrived. We will be staying again in the future.

Second year in a row for our family has stayed at Nicholas R's. It has worked out perfectly for us both times!

A friend and I stayed at the cottage this past weekend to celebrate her 40th birthday. We had the best, most relaxing time! The cottage is so cute and there is so much care taken with every detail. We appreciated all the special extra touches - face masks, little chocolates on the bed, even the smell of the cottage (amazing, by the way!) The lake is so peaceful and quiet. We saw swans, otters, tons of birds. It was exactly the weekend we had hoped for. We would love to visit again someday!

We loved our stay at this airbnb! The house was so cute and perfect for a girl's weekend. There were so many areas to hangout in the house and the kitchen was perfect to cook meals in. The one thing that was a bummer is that the hot tub was not warm and we tried to communicate with the host, but it was later in the evening so we weren't able to use it because we weren't sure how to fix our problem.

We were not familiar with Lake Wawasee, but this was the perfect spot for us. Oakwood Resort is right on the water with great views of boats and jet skis coming and going. Boats pull into the dock and moor outside the restaurant at The resort. The lake houses all have crisp, clean, white sheets and bedding; fully stocked kitchens, inc. coffee pot & microwave; bathrooms have plenty of bathroom towels, toilet paper and Kleenex. We were delighted with everything. The marina for boat rental is a 5-minute walk away; the resort grounds are lovely with well-maintained landscape; resort restaurant is great; resort has kayaks and bikes for guests to use, as well as a small beach. We are likely to return and have recommended it to a number of friends already.

Went with family and it was so comfortable, bigger than I thought it would be. It was the most peaceful, quiet vacation we’ve ever had. My only difficulty was childproofing but we made it work. Very comfortable.

This is our third stay here with Emerson. We have enjoyed all three very much. We are already talking about coming back next year. The lake provides lots of activities for the whole family.

The lake cottage was super comfortable, clean, in a picture perfect setting! We had a fantastic family vacation and would love to come back next year!!!

Jacklyn's lake cottage was perfect for us as we were looking for a place on the water that would be easy to dock our boat and get on the water without a wait. We also needed a power hookup outside for the electronics on our boat, and there was easy/convenient access to do so. I would easily stay here again.
