Beach house rentals in Lake Michigan Beach

Our stay for a last-minute golf trip worked out perfectly. Hazel was very kind and the place was easy to access. All courses and Casino were within 15 min radius of the place. Was slightly difficult to find an uber/lyft but we managed. Thank you!

everything was extremely nice, unfortunately the knob to change from shower to faucet was detached so we could not utilize the very large beautiful bathtub. The front porch light also needs to be replaced, we opted to leave the front door open to be able to see outside after dark. Other than that everything was extremely nice. Still worthy of a five-star review.

Had a wonderful time staying at Dunetop Escape! The owners were very nice and responsive. Very knowledgeable about the area and made some awesome recommendations. The house was spotless and very accommodating. The house has a lot of usable space and even more sleeping areas! Loved that they made beach days so easy as they had everything you may ever need. Will absolutely be looking to book this location again and look forward to exploring more of Michigan City.

We had a great time! It was a perfect house for our large extended family! Spacious main living and every room had its own bathroom! Walkable to the pool and Lake Michigan! Host was very accommodating and helpful whenever we had questions! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our four nights at this place. Home fully stocked with anything and everything you need! Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and gas grill each evening. Close walk to the beach and hiking and biking trails. Incredible location. Cute little neighborhood. Carrie was an exceptional host.

Crystal's place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Crystal sent us all the information we needed for check in and responded to any messages very quickly. The house is very nice and lots of room. It had a lot of restaurants nearby and was a great place to stay to visit the Indiana Dunes. Would definitely stay again!

Catherine's Beach House was the perfect place to stay for our fall trip to South Haven. It was close to the area beaches, shops and other amenities. The Beach House has everything plus more! My little ones loved the children's toys and books that were available. We cooked all of our meals at Catherine's place which was a huge plus. The host went above and beyond with information about local events, places to visit and restaurants to try. Catherine was responsive and incredibly kind. We hope to visit the Beach House again soon!

Our family had a great stay at Anna’s house. It was perfect for our family gathering and very kid friendly. Our family loved the spacious house, the showers were nice with great pressure and we loved that the home had everything we needed. The host Anna was friendly, responsive, and ready to assist us. Due to the weather, the stay would be worth a little more in the summer months to utilize the pool (however it was heated which we liked a lot) and backyard space. Overall, great host, great home, great time and I would visit again!

This house was so beautiful and was a perfect place to spend a girl’s weekend! Would recommend over and over again and would definitely stay here again! Mike was also very quick at responding (even on the weekend) and when something wasn’t right he was very quick it fix it.

Came from Canada for a music festival in Hastings and booked this gem what a beautiful place so peaceful and so much to do or just simply kick back and relax we highly recommend this place from the host to the included activities to the scenery campfires it was truly amazing 🙏❤️

We had an amazing time during our stay, it truly felt like a home away from home! Everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We had absolutely no complaints, only compliments. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, always helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. The nearby lake was a highlight; so peaceful and fun to explore. We especially enjoyed taking morning walks around it; it’s a perfect way to start the day. We also recommend making the short 18-minute drive to Shipshewana, Indiana. It’s such a charming town with lots to see and do. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for comfort, relaxation, and a great location!

My husband and I, along with our 3 Siberian huskies stayed for 2 nights. We wished it was for longer! Jenna granted us an extra hr for check out which we really appreciated! Also, this house is incredibly clean. We were both impressed. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Something to note: there’s about 3-5 ft of water before you get into “muck” and the lake is full of seaweed. We brought our paddle board and floated around. The water is very clear and it was actually quite beautiful to look at the fish and even the seaweed looked beautiful. There are some deeper parts that you could definitely avoid touching any weeds. But just something to note if you plan on swimming. Also, we didn’t explore the entire lake so not sure what the far half is like. SUNRISES ARE GORGEOUS HERE! I would book this place just to watch the sunrise. And lots of wildlife. I would think kids would really enjoy it! Turtles, geese, tons of fish, loons. Again, overall highly recommend

We had a girl’s getaway weekend at this lake house . We needed a place to simply relax and unwind, and Polly’s place provided just that. It is in a very peaceful location. We all enjoyed having our coffee/tea in the sunroom in the morning while listening to the birds. A couple of questions came up during our stay, and Polly and Jack were responsive and helpful. Polly even came over to be our photographer when we had an idea for some pictures on the staircase. She was a great sport. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the home was spotless. The fire-pit area and access to firewood was great . If there was any suggestion I could share, it would be to devise an easier way to utilize the paddle boat. We didn’t attempt it, because we don’t believe we could have got it in and out of the lake easily. Other than that, we had a great weekend. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Great private space on a quiet street. Lots of breweries and restaurants a quick drive away. Amenities were just as described and the space is in great condition.

Excellent location in a cute (and quiet) neighborhood just two blocks from a couple of great restaurants and walking distance to the beach. We left very refreshed and relaxed. Everything was as expected or better.

We had a perfect stay here! The home is located in a beautiful, private area directly on the beach of Lake Michigan. The view is amazing, and the inside of the home was even more beautiful in person than in the photos. And we really appreciated only one short page of check-in / check-out information - nothing overly complicated! Other points we were appreciative of: -- Entire home was impeccably clean -- Great variety of cooking equipment, tableware, and utensils in the kitchen -- Kitchen drawers were labeled which made finding things a breeze -- Love the decor with a cozy, coastal feel -- Quality towels & rugs -- Towel hooks in bathrooms & bedrooms -- Great water pressure & temperature -- Patio seating -- Absolutely incredible view -- Great tub -- Fire pit on the beach was very fun -- Huge variety of games and activity books for children, as well as beach toys It was hard to leave! Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in the area. Very highly recommend!

This was the second time we stayed. The cabin is wonderful, clean and well kept . The outdoor shower is a joy to use. Great fire pit location, wonderful place for a private and peaceful family get away. We hope to go annually.

We loved our stay here. The place was spotless - shout out to the cleaners. It was in great walking distance to a beach, and there was hardly anyone there! The home was welcoming and updated. I enjoyed the story in the binder of how the family came to be owners of the cottage. This is a great getaway for a couple or small family.

My girlfriend and I came here for our 2nd anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The treehouse itself was peaceful, comfortable, clean, and awarded amazing views of nature. Nearby we fished at a lake and I caught my biggest fish yet! The downtown was a pretty little area with even more lake to experience. We ate at Pub 111 and met some friendly people and enjoyed great affordable food. With Michigan’s Adventure also being ~15 minutes away, we headed there after checkout and had a blast. We’re thinking of making this a yearly anniversary thing!

The grounds were beautiful, the coastal decor was perfect and the view was spectacular! Loved how drawers and light switches were labeled so no guessing games as to where stuff was. A fenced area for the dogs would’ve been icing on the cake but it didn’t detract from an amazing vacation in a gorgeous location! Would give 10 stars if that were an option.

My husband and I went on a little getaway for an early birthday present for me. My favorite thing to do in the summer is fish and be out on the water. If you're looking for something like that, this is the great place for you. It's quiet. Great place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back.
