We had a fabulous time staying at the Alexander Valley Lodge. The location was fantastic -- private, peaceful, and beautiful, while also being a close driving distance to Geyserville and Healdsburg and all the wonderful wineries in the area. The master bedroom is huge, open, bright, and surrounded in windows and decks with gorgeous views -- looking down at the pool area, and out to the woods. We paid extra money to heat the pool, but unfortunately, even though the day was pleasant (72 degrees and sunny), the pool was shaded by the trees, so we didn't spend much time in the pool. But on a hot, sunny day, the pool would be a wonderful way to cool off. It's smaller than anticipated, but perfect for dipping and floating. We enjoyed the hot tub. We comfortably sat all eleven of us around the dining room table off the kitchen. It was fun to be able to share a meal together. The living room is split levels, with a pool table on the upper level and the couches on the lower level.

Frank was very easy to work with and was extremely responsive. Penngrove is such a quaint town. Franks place feels like a treehouse! So beautiful inside and out.

We loved the place and will be back there again. The location is isolated but convenient to both Sonoma and Napa.

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at this beautiful property. Our kids loved the swing set, the yard, watching deer and listening to frogs, and all the toys and games inside. The adults in our party enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and spacious clean property.

The location for a multi family long weekend was perfect! We all had our own indoor space and the outdoor living area was amazing! The home was very inviting and worked well for our group of 8 adults.

We had a fabulous time as a group of 10 girls celebrating my sister's engagement. The house has the most beautiful view and did not disappoint! The best part of our experience was that Danielle was SO helpful in planning our wine tasting day and giving recommendations. We were unfamiliar with Alexander Valley, and she was able to help us coordinate and afforable, unforgetable day visiting wineries!

Excellent place to stay! Great location. Quiet. 5 min drive to Sonoma Square. There are a lot of great wineries in the area. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Great kitchen. It was not only stocked with all the kitchenware you will need, but it had high quality kitchenware, too. Beds were very comfortable. Check-in was easy and host was easy to communicate with. I’m will stay here again! Highly recommended!

Our family of three really enjoyed the stay in Calistoga. The house is great and very clean. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. The house is close to 5 min away from downtown and we drove there a few times for meals. We also visited the petrified forest which is about 15 min away. Overall was a great stay.

First of all, the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for a woodsy nature retreat, this is the place. The large windows allow you to appreciate the scenery even while you’re inside. All of the amenities are incredible. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and hammock, but I could see the game room and basketball hoop being just as exciting for those with children. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and cooking essentials like oil and seasoning, and the house was uncluttered and clean. If you are considering this spot, there are a few things to consider. First of all, this house is truly on a hilltop and you must drive a steep, winding road to get there. Secondly, you will see spiders. This is part of the woods experience even in the cleanest of houses, but if you are particularly scared of bugs, this might not be the spot for you. However, I want to reiterate how much I enjoyed this stay. Anjali is an incredible host and I would certainly recommend this spot.

A beautiful remote place in wind country.

The hosts were awesome and Danielle was very generous. This is a GREAT place to use a base for wine tasting. They serve wine and cheese in the afternoon, and breakfast was delicious. They also have tons of connections to the local wineries, and we were always treated wonderfully when we mentioned we were staying at the Alexander Valley Lodge. The lodge and the property are beautiful and comfortable; this would be an awesome place for parties.

Danielle heard that there would be power outages due to high winds and fire danger in Geyserville so seamlessly found us another bnb in Healdsburg. Thank goodness, as there was a fire and all Geyserville got evacuated. This is a high level of customer service and a tribute to how the inn keepers in Sonoma look out for their guests and each other. Thanks Danielle, you saved our trip. We’ll be back.

I enjoyed staying at Ruby's. It was peaceful, clean quiet for my last night in California and easy to get to the airport from there.

This is a Great place to just Relax and get an Amazing Rest and forget about all your worries. Very Nice and Clean place and Surroundings are Incredible!

I could not have asked for anything more. It was the perfect setting for my girlfriends birthday. Looking out the lodge's windows are like looking into a beautiful painting. Our host Daniell was exceptional, very warm and open. All in all I could not recommend that place more. It is close to many beautiful wineries and if you dont feel like leaving the lodge there is plenty to do there. perfect place to stay.

Danielle's Place is a wonderful home up in the woods in a very private location. Plenty of bedrooms to hold a large family if needed. It is very comfortable and relaxing. A nice patio with a hot tub and pool are perfect for a laid back afternoon or evening. Very convenient to wine country. A large family room and kitchen make staying in easy. Highly recommend.
