Sarah and Simon were such lovely hosts, the tipi we stayed in was beautiful and clean and dry even through a storm! The kichen area and bathroom facilities had everything you needed and the swimming pool and fire pit made for a very relaxing family stay. Sarah and Simon responded above and beyond to all our needs and we thoroughly recommend them.

Janet’s place is a great spot to escape the busy London life and relax in the nature. Perfect of chicken too..! We really enjoyed the barbecue and the outdoors..! I’d just recommend you bringing extra lights (as we had to buy some after the first night) and warm clothes (since the summer is slowly slipping away..)

This place really is wonderfully appointed, all the modern conveniences you could hope for: there are three different ways to make a cup of tea! It takes no time to walk from Winnersh train station, and there’s a large Sainsbury’s supermarket/grocery store just the other side of the tracks. You can fit many cars but you won’t need one. The recommended taxi companies from the house book were super professional, too. Richard and Sarah are extremely accommodating and excellent communicators. I would not hesitate to book their place again, though as my sister only plans on getting married once I doubt the need will arise.

We had a lovely stay at Sabina’s place, it was perfect for two families with young children as they had a great play room, plenty of space and good-sized rooms. It was great that it had parking, and also a lovely garden where we could spend a bit of time in the sun for dinner.

We had a lovely weekend stay in this gorgeous corner of the countryside! The hosts were so friendly and helpful, the tents were warm and cosy, with everything you could need! The site was serene and beautiful with plenty of nature to see and hear. We had a great time kayaking to the pub and exploring the nearby village. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for peace and tranquility in nature!

We loved our stay in the Freddie tent! Everything was as described with lovely bedding all set up for us. We really enjoyed all the roaming animals, alpacas and sheep that came to visit and a lovely sheepdog too. The location is great, a fab pub with amazing pies is a short walk away. The walks in the area are also gorgeous and you can access these directly from the campsite. I just want to nod attention to the ladies running the campsite who were very quick and SO attentive when I reported a couple of noisy guests in one of the tents. They were on the matter straight away to create the lovely tranquil site that it is! Thank you to both Linda and Michele who sorted this at no fault of their own or the campsite. Would 100% return!!

We had the best time! The little hut is very beautiful and the interior shows how much thought the hosts have put into it. There was nothing more we could ask for. Everything in the little home was perfectly arranged, with much attention to aesthetics and comfort. The surroundings are also beautiful and calming, looking out of the window onto the fields at sunrise and relaxing by the fire at dusk brought the feeling of serenity we so longed for a weekend. We were lucky to see the deer herds on our forest walk and to have been visited by the resident barn owl after dark! Excellent communication with the hosts, nice pubs and nature walks nearby. Perfect getaway, especially if you don’t want to travel far from London!

Absolutely top. Warren was very welcoming when showing us around the place was in great condition and exactly as shown. Bedrooms all had TVs and Kitchen was well stocked for extras coffee sauces and condiments and bathrooms had soap towels and extras if you forgot something. 100% would stay again.

My husband and I stayed in the hut for a birthday treat for him. It was absolutely stunning - so clean, cosy and luxurious. The wood-fired hot tub was brilliant and Aimee had kindly got it heating up for us ready for our arrival. The surroundings were so peaceful and private, with birds of prey flying overheard and deer in the meadow. The king-size bed was incredibly comfy and we loved watching the sky through the skylight. Every little detail had been thought of, from supplies in the fridge to robes and flip-flops for the hot tub. Aimee was always quick to respond to any questions and was really helpful with directions and local recommendations. My only negative is that we couldn't stay longer!

Really can't recommend Marcus's place enough. He welcomed us on arrival, explaining how everything worked, recommending some local walks and generally ensuring we wanted for nothing. The hut is in a beautiful, quiet space and it really is perfect for a few days of peace.
