Lovely little get away , clean, comfortable bed and the hot tub was a lovely extra and very relaxing , would defo stay here again

Such a beautiful place! Everything you could possible need, including a bottle chilling on the fridge! Very easy to find, we had no problems following Linley’s instructions in the dark, and even with a very late check in she was responsive, accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we were ok that evening. We had a great stay and slept very well. The outdoor space was perfect and we took a stroll up onto the heath from the doorstep. Linley and her husband both very friendly and nothing too much trouble! Thank you very much! 😊

Me and my 4 friends stayed here for the weekend and it was lovely! The outside surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure a good stay, bonus points that they got the hot tub up and running again! 😊 We would all return again, thank you both so much!

A lovely place to stay - the Shed is really charming. Lots of lovely finishing touches from the fire pit to the fairy lights. The area is so beautiful and peaceful. Lots to do in walking distance too - if you are looking for a quiet stay close to nature (and with some good local pubs nearby) this is it! WOW! What a wonderful few days we had at the forest cabin at Red Kite Retreats. A special weekend for our son’s first birthday and what gorgeous surroundings we were in. The cabin was spotless, beds super comfortable and the cabin had great amenities. We did some lovely walks from the cabin and chilled for the rest of our time and took in the beautiful cosy surroundings. Would highly recommend and hope to go back again one day!

Sarah’s Luxury Hut on the River Arle was a wonderful place to stay for the Easter Weekend. The hut is lovely, comfortable and well equipped. The bed is great, I haven’t slept so well in years! It’s a private location but a short walk into the town where there are lots of lovely pubs and restaurants. Sarah’s communication was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we had a fantastic weekend away. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, tranquil location, ideally situated for countryside walks. The Cabin is extremely well presented and equipped, with a homely, comfortable feel. Vanessa is a very welcoming and friendly host. There's tea, coffee, milk and wine waiting for you on arrival. We are very much looking forward to our next stay.

perfect location for my mini trip to Surrey with my dog. Cosy, clean, comfortable - 3c's that I look for when booking a place to stay when catching up with friends & family. Had everything I needed in the kitchen. Private, secure garden for dog.

We booked this place to visit various family members which were all located in Surrey and Hampshire. As we had a young Springador with us it was essential that there was a garden and the owners of the lodge very kindly have the whole garden available and she certainly made use of it. The walks from the door were very easy to follow and were various lengths and abilities so there’s something for everyone. On arrival there was a delightful homemade marmalade cake waiting for our attendance. That was and still is being dutifully attended to and that really was quite exceptional. The hosts were friendly and approachable and provided extra chairs for us as our son visited us one of the evenings. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at this Woodland Hideaway.

I stayed at Owen’s annex for around 4-5 weeks and felt right at home from the start. The place itself was lovely—cosy, well-equipped, and in a beautiful, peaceful setting. Owen was an amazing host, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. He was really friendly, and I enjoyed our chats—such a genuine and welcoming person! Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing place with a great host.

Antonia's place was warm and homely. Although in her garden, I had off road parking and didn't feel either overlooked. It was clean and I felt at home straight away, especially with her pictures and knick-knacks! She suggested places to go but was not intrusive. Lovely break.

A really lovely place to stay, relaxing, comfortable, everything you need to make you feel at home. This was exactly what we needed while we were having home renovations done. Jane and Derek are such lovely hosts, and make sure you feel very welcomed. They go out of there way to support your needs. We would highly recommend staying here.

The place was beautiful, small, peaceful and exactly what myself and my son needed. We were given carrots to feed the donkeys, offered fresh produce from the garden and we were provided with milk in the fridge on arrival. The place was clean and tidy, the area was great and we walked up to the garden centre for breakfast on our first morning. The sunset was incredible and we would definitely stay again. It isn’t completely private as you’re in their garden, however, that didn’t bother us and they were respectful and super friendly. It was my first time travelling alone with my son so it was lovely to feel like I could ask for help if I needed it and almost like staying at a family house. Their dog was lovely and friendly and they were also aware of exercising the dog when my son was crawling in the garden which wasn’t necessary but kind and thoughtful. We would definitely like to stay again!

I have already booked to go back again for two weeks in June, that's how lovely this place is. Beautiful location, set on its own, on a farm, lovely and quiet with stunning outlook. The wood burner was very popular, Christine had already set it up ready for our arrival. Didn't get around to using the BBQ or Firepit Very comfy bed made it difficult to get up in the morning zzzz Thanks Christine and Mark for making us welcome.

Ali is a great host, very friendly and always on hand if you need anything. The Den was lovely, very will finished with everything you need - cosy and with great personal touches. Lovely location - just what we needed!

Geoff's place is absolutely perfect if you are looking for a quiet and secluded but central place to stay. It was perfect for our family (1 adult + 2 children), and the kids really loved the sleeping in the loft bed! The design of the space is efficient, so you have plenty of space for a suitcase and some bags... The hosts were very responsive and the directions for check-in were clear - everything went seamless!

Great stay as always. Lovely peaceful setting to come back to after spending the day with 4 grandsons! Teena was welcoming and as kind as usual. We always look here first when visiting the area.

We stayed here for our anniversary! We had such a lovely time, the area was beautiful. Close to a train station and such a peaceful and lovely place! Hosts were excellent! And value for money! Thank you so much for letting us stay ❤️
