Garden Rooms

TimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The garden room / kitchen, bedroom and bathroom are arranged in a U shape, the bedroom is down two steps from the kitchen and the bathroom accessed from the bedroom through a large utility room shared with the hosts. All the rooms are recently fitted out to a high standard and beautifully decorated. The place was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Amanda and Mike met us when we arrived and saw us off when we left. The garden room faces east, so can be lovely and sunny in the morning, one highlight is the great pastoral view across a large field with sheep grazing and wild deer foraging. We had a very peaceful stay.

Two-bed, luxury eco-home with stunning views

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful short break at Orchard Barns. The accommodation is brilliant for a short getaway, contemporary, distinctive, well equipped and comfortable. The setting is lovely, very peaceful and rural with long views across the fields. Robert was very welcoming and quick to respond to any queries. Would highly recommend!

The Sky Blue Pink Gite

DavidRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Linda was friendly and helpful. The Gite was comfortable and spotless. There is a Pub at the end of the lane (10 min uphill but only 5 min back !) with a selection of real ale and a good standard of 'pub grub'. A private area to sit and enjoy the evening or have early breakfast would add to the property's . Maybe to the back of the building ? There is a bench and an iron bistro set in the surrounding garden/field though. We had one small (modern day) issue in that the WiFi stopped working and 5G coverage is hit and miss in the area. More an inconvenience than anything else and it did not spoild our stay.

Comfortable, one bed private dwelling

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a fantastic property, very spacious and has a very handy path to the local village through the fields. Sue was great with check-in instructions and provided tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend staying here and would come again !

We had a lovely long weekend. Friendly and helpful hosts who really looked after us. Beautifully clean and well maintained, warm and private. The windmill is fantastic, day and night (illuminated and very picturesque). Well appointed kitchen, hot shower and very comfortable, big bed.

A perfectly peaceful getaway, badgers rest is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. I really enjoyed sitting outside and taking in how peaceful it was. Fiona and her partner are so friendly to talk to, I felt very welcomed arriving by motorcycle also ☺️ Fiona had great recommendations about the local area and countryside walks you can take from the Airbnb also. Thank you so much, see you again soon ☺️

Nicks Nook

JohnRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Great hangout for me as I was on a course and needed a local self contained space. It was perfect and although I did not use it as there was a heatwave I think the wood burning stove would be great in the winter
