Squirrel Creek Cabin

CarlaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
What a beautiful place that is surrounded by nature and no concrete! We enjoyed sitting outside in the morning drinking our coffee/tea just listening to the birds singing and watching the sun rise and glisten on the morning dew. We experienced seeing a beautiful black bear from a distance of course. The farm animals love the special attention we gave them when we provided carrots and apples to the horses. We did discover that the Highland Cows prefer saltine crackers. We tried carrots and Wheat Thins with no success. They do love a good scratch on the head. We did enjoy lunch one day at

Sherman's Retreat on Buck's Pond

JessaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family of 5 and two huskies truly enjoyed our stay at this little oasis in Smithfield! We fished, walked around the pond, and enjoyed meals on the enclosed deck. David was an incredibly friendly host and we can’t say enough positive things about our stay. We will definitely be back next time we visit NC!

This cabin was so nice! We like to travel with our dog, but often times, pet friendly accommodations still smell like other pets, and this cabin did not! It was very clean, cozy and private! I highly recommend staying here!

Historic cabin close to Duke U - with EV Charger

JulieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
**Note for guests with EVs: the charger is a Tesla charger. A bit of a disappointment bc we couldn’t charge our ioninq5, but worked out fine bc we used a nearby charging station.** We really loved staying in this adorable and comfortable cabin with our dog. Nicely furnished and decorated with a large, well-stocked kitchen, a really nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. The little daybed room across from the bathroom was perfect - we kept our suitcases there and used it like a dressing room. Josh was very nice about a “goof” on our part during our stay, and we appreciated it. Would 100% stay here again!
A shared outdoor space features several wooden Adirondack chairs arranged around a fire pit with a protective cover. Towering trees surround the area, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. The log cabin is visible in the background among the greenery.

Family-Friendly Cabin ~ 5 Mi to Dtwn New Bern

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed at the cabin with our two 50-pound pups for two nights. There are two other cabins on the property and though they are close, we didn't mind the company. Our cabin was *just* enough space for us. We appreciated that the cabin was clean and well appointed...and even had a few decorations for the holidays that made it feel festive! The location felt off the beaten path but was still convenient to all we needed to do in New Bern. Though the dogs would have appreciated a fenced-in area to really stretch their legs, the cabin grounds were clean and full of interesting sniffs. :) They really loved going for walks at Latham-Whitehurst Nature Park, which was a short drive across the highway. "Evolve" is a company, not a host, so communications were automated, but helpful enough to get us in and out without any issues. The pet fee referred to in the instructions was included with the AirBnb fees, so we paid no extra. All in all, a comfortable and easy stay in New Bern!

Perfect Summer Cabin * Storybook Cute * Full Acre!

BonnieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This house is located in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood (Stonehenge) and it’s surrounded by tall trees and flowering shrubbery. The home was very clean and comfortable and the furnishings provided a modern mid century vibe. The screened in porch and deck were great areas to relax and a couple of nights we used the fire pit out on the lawn. We were happy for visits by five or six deer during our stay and our two dogs loved the big yard, too. We appreciated the owner’s communications and she checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. We really enjoyed our time at this property and wished we could’ve stayed longer!

Cozy Cabin

AprilRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I was pleasantly surprised with Melody’s tiny cabin it looked exactly like the photos, better honestly, and even had a little loft (not pictured) that would be perfect for kids if you brought along an air mattress. We came to visit our daughter and go to the ECU football game. The hotels around were full and what was left were so expensive. This little cabin was worth the price and only a 30 minute drive from the college. My only suggestion would be to reach out before you arrive and ask them to turn on the air conditioner. It was hot in the cabin when we arrived late at night, but there were so many windows with screens that we were able to open and it cooled off fast from the cool night air! We would definitely like to stay again on our next visit to ECU if the cabin is available!

River-Front Wagon Glamping- Wild Blue

JoshuaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Cozy Heron. The wagon had the perfect amount of room for my family of three. The beds were super comfy and kept nicely clean. The temperature control was perfect for the warmer day and cooler night. We enjoyed grilling with the provided Blackstone flat top propane grill while looking out at the river. They provided all the necessary grilling tools, oils and even disposable plates. We appreciate the hand sanitize readily available by the grill as well to keep everyone mindful of their hands while glamping. The bathrooms look small on the outside but have all the needed amenities to feel clean and refreshed including plush clean towels,shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We liked that the bathrooms even had their own temperature control to keep your restroom experience enjoyable while glamping. We highly recommend a family stay at The Cozy Heron.
A two-story house is situated among mature trees, featuring a spacious screened porch that wraps around the upper level. The ground area is surrounded by a grassy lawn with bushes, and a set of stairs leads to the entry. Sunlight streams down, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

River-View Wagon Glamping- The Swamp Rose

AudreyRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Our stay was absolutely beautiful by the river in the cutest little wagon. Everything was even better than described. The bathrooms and wagon were so CLEAN. We had a small little operator error (my fault) with the mini split and Megan was super accommodating, understanding & responsive. We will definitely be back! There is a the best pizza place within walking distance! We just loved it!
