Single Room in Family Home (Or see Double room )

MikeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lynn and Kenny were great hosts, both friendly and welcoming. I felt instantly relaxed as soon as I entered their beautiful home. Everything was so clean and fresh. The spotless kitchen was well-equipped, making cooking and preparing food a dream… and, talking about dreams, the bed was very comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Conservatory seating area was great. Very handy location for visiting Edinburgh and the surrounding area. I would definitely return when in Scotland again, next time with my wife.. who I’m sure would love to spend a relaxing time reading her books in the conservatory and beautiful garden patio.

Wow! What a fabulous place to stay! Daniela was an excellent, welcoming host. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished. The property was close proximity to Edinburgh Airport and located in beautiful surroundings on the golf course. It was easy to get to Edinburgh and I enjoyed staying outside of the city. I highly recommend and will stay again, for sure!

Winchburgh home

Peter was great. The bed was comfortable and he gave us a lift to the airport. There is little to do in the neighbourhood but there is a food store within walking distance and I believe a pizza place and a burger joint that he did not give great reviews! There is a school across the street but we were not bothered by any noise. The room is private and not large so we could not open up both our suitcases at the same time but there was room in the hall. He also supplied a kettle, and microwave and a small frig along with milk, sugar, coffee, tea and some cereal.

Lovely room in stylish flat, Edinburgh

I had a very nice stay at Andrea’s place. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. It’s a great location if you need to catch an early flight, with the Skyline 100 bus stop about a 20-minute walk away and easy access to both the town center and the airport. Just be sure to check the earlier schedule for connecting buses, especially on Sundays. The bed was very comfortable, and the stay overall was pleasant. Andrea is a wonderful host—friendly, informative, and very hospitable. Highly recommended!
An historic building is surrounded by a dusting of snow, showcasing large stained glass windows and intricate stonework. Nearby, a tree covered in frost stands, adding to the serene winter scene. Blue skies provide a contrasting backdrop, enhancing the beauty of the architecture.

We stayed for the month of May and Jenny’s place was so handy to bus stop just outside the yard and train station was a 20 minute walk. Linlithgow is a charming place and a great base for exploring Scotland. Thank you Jenny and Steve!
