The location is ideal – quiet, but still close to shopping and excursion destinations. We were able to do a lot by bike. We especially liked the sunny balcony overlooking the countryside. In the morning, you could already have breakfast outside with the morning sun. The contact with the host was friendly and straightforward. We spent a wonderful week here and would recommend the apartment at any time.”

Beautiful, family-friendly apartment with loving hosts We were allowed to be guests at Eckhard and Bea's from 05/15-25/2025 and felt completely comfortable from the first moment. The apartment is large, bright, beautifully decorated and absolutely clean – you can immediately feel how much heart and care is in every detail. Especially for families, it is a small paradise: In every room, toys were lovingly prepared, the sockets are childproof – everything is well thought out and designed with a lot of love. Our little son loved it! We will be happy to come back from the bottom of our hearts!

My husband and I with our two dogs had a wonderful stay. We felt right at home, had a lovely enclosed garden for our fluffs which was hard to find at other locations. The apartment was super clean, very new and in a lovely location with lots of walking options direct from the property. When we had neighbours next door or above us, we hardly heard them at all; it’s incredibly well insulated. We would certainly stay again.

The perfect stay if you want to enjoy a break in the great outdoors. Pia is a very nice landlady and is always available for questions.

Super nice, clean apartment! The city center can be reached within 20 minutes by bus (bus station only 3 minutes away) or by bike in 10 minutes. The communication also worked great, so you can only recommend it:D

Really a great apartment with a great view of and over the dike - especially thanks to the binoculars. Being able to walk to the beach is great! Even though we didn't need them, as a family we were happy about details like children's band-aids and a flashlight. The host always responded quickly and was always very nice! We can only recommend it! Thanks!

Ulla is a friendly hostess, who is easily accessible, but also gives you your space and privacy. The house is spacious, the garden both in front and back offers a lovely place to be in the sunny weather. The nostalgic Beach Basket is a nice tourist addition.

The house was nicely decorated and clean, very child-friendly and also dog-friendly. You could get to everything easily on foot or within a few minutes by car. The contact with Michael was friendly and you could always reach him. We would come back any time

A wonderful accommodation that even surpassed the description as well as the photos of the listing. We were there with 7 adults, all had generous space and it was just great. The house is so tastefully decorated and thoughtful, functional, cozy, warm and chic ....you can't find it better. The garden is certainly around 1500 square meters, something grows in each, there is a bench, a table, a sandbox, a hammock... We've been to a lot of places, but this really exceeded our expectations. A very clear recommendation and a warm thank you for these beautiful days!

It was a very nice apartment that lacked nothing. It is a very quiet location and you can reach everything in Dornumersiel on foot or by bike.

We stayed as a family of five adults and a five-month-old baby for a week in the old painter's house of Christin and Willi. We had a very nice time in the house and were able to enjoy the quiet garden right on the water in good weather, especially in the first days, and watch the cows grazing on the other side of the water. But even with the worse weather in the second half of the week, we had it very cozy in the house in the spacious living room with fireplace. The location is wonderfully quiet to relax or take walks along the dike. Christin and Willi even provided us with a travel cot for our baby. The communication with the two went great, they were always helpful and with good tips (e.g. the trip to Groningen was very worthwhile). Everything in the house was also very clean and well maintained. All in all, the perfect place to stay for a family getaway. We will be happy to come back!

Great place & super-friendly host. They even brought three crates of toys for our kids!

We had a lovely weekend with six people. The house is very quiet. It's worth taking wheels with you here. Amenities were good Only the size/design of the rooms was a bit restrictive. In two out of three rooms, you cannot move freely around the bed. The fact that the third bed is only 140 cm wide and without a headboard made the overnight stay for six adults a bit problematic. But for a weekend, it was still possible.

The small cozy apartment is in a quiet villa with a beautiful garden, where you can sit and relax. Everything was exactly as described and very clean. The kitchen contains everything you could ever need. Information was available. I had four wonderful days there with ordered beautiful weather and was able to do long bike rides every day. Bicycle cellar is available. As a rider, I enjoyed hearing the horses snorting from the stable of the neighboring property in the morning. I definitely recommend this place.

It was so beautiful at Sarah and David's place. The place is fantastically beautiful, extremely tastefully decorated and the view is out of this world! We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back! Thank you very much!

Everything was great! The place was clean and well equipped. The nearest bus stop was maybe 1-2 minutes' walk away and the area in general was very quiet. Kim is also very friendly. Would recommend staying there to everyone!

I can only recommend the apartment. Top value for money. It is modern and offers everything you need for a multi-day stay. It is quiet and well connected to local transport. Bus and tram stops are minutes away. Beate is very nice and very attentive to her guests. I was completely satisfied and would book a stay with Beate again anytime.

Very nice little apartment; ideal for two people. The location is great and really very quiet. It has everything you need. We particularly liked the small balcony, where you can have a cozy breakfast in the morning.

The place is in a quiet relaxing location just to chill out and forget about the chaos of the city! Inside was very cozy, private, spacious and clean. Place very well stocked but would have been also nice to have some boardgames around. Kevin answered very quickly when needed. Overall, my kids and I were very happy to enjoy a couple of days in the nature in a nice and cozy little place! Thanks Kevin.
