Under the chestnut tree is our romantic detached cottage in picturesque Schellinkhout. Fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, TV and 2-person bed with a wonderful mattress. In 10 steps, you are on the sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and (kite)surfing. Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Cozy restaurant 100 m away. We arrange breakfast on the 1st day!

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Het gastenverblijf ligt achter op het erf helemaal privé met uitzicht op de tuin. Het heeft een eigen privé terras met grote loungebank en is omheind met een hekje. Het is nieuw en van alle gemakken voorzien, mooie keuken met apparatuur. Slaapkamer met 2 persoons boxspring. Mooie badkamer met douche en dubbele wasbakken. Zwaag ligt in West-Friesland, een mooie omgeving om te fietsen met vele uitvalswegen. Hoorn heeft een mooie oude kern en gezellige haven. Er is een prachtig strand en horeca.

Close to Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Amsterdam for cultural excursions; Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Edam, Monnickendam, Marken, Broek in Waterland, Twisk, Kolhorn for pittoresque villages. There is a big garden with pizza-oven, orchard, and soccer court. The farmhouse is situated near the Markermeer, great for swimming, especially known for kite-and windsurfing. Het staat op een kleinschalig recreatiepark, waar wij ook een ander huisje hebben onder de naam Familie Buitenhuys. Je slaapt in een volledig huisje met vloerverwarming en alle comfort. In de master bedroom staat een bad bij het raam, met uitzicht over de weilanden. Vanuit het bad zie je Nederland in zijn puurste vorm. Licht, eigenzinnig en speels ingedeeld. Maximaal 4 personen + baby.

Feel free to take a look and get to know the love between humans and animals. But you have also come to the right place for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the beautiful view that extends to the Markermeer, make use of the reading material or take a seat on your terrace where the cows pass you.

Experience "la dolce vita" in the heart of Zwaag. Enjoy a cozy holiday home near Hoorn (NH). A perfect combination of city and outdoor living. "Logeerderij De Kukel" is a place to relax and enjoy the good things in life. We are happy to share this special place with others. Breakfast is not included but can be ordered optionally. There are 2 (free) bicycles available to discover the area and our natural swimming pond is open from April 1 to October 1. Welcome!
