Comfortable apartment at the foot of the Juras, ideal for hikes and castle visits. Bern in 40 minutes., Zurich can be reached in 1 hour. Good train connections throughout the country. Mini golf, outdoor swimming pool and nature reserve in Balsthal (10 min. away). Solothurn, the most beautiful baroque city in Switzerland, 15 min. away(by train or car). Peaceful location, 500 m to the train station and village center. Shopping center in the neighboring village, Coop, Migros, Post and restaurant "Bären" in the village. Two free parking spaces in front of the apartment.

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Sandra’s for my wife’s birthday. The location is beautiful and Sandra and her family were amazing hosts. Definitely try the breakfast, it was delicious. Everything was fresh and home made. We ended up taking a walk with their dog, Chica and it was so cute. They even gave my wife a little cake with a little candle and some flowers on her birthday. It was definitely an amazing stay

AMAZING stay. Bernhardt was attentive and helpful when needed, and also left us to enjoy the stay. I appreciate his recommendations for a car repair and restaurant to help us after a long drive and getting in late. The deck immediately on the lake is the highlight - heated pool, outdoor dining, outdoor shower, sun loungers and steps directly into the lake. Paddle boards were available. The private driveway cannot be taken for granted, this place gives privacy and a quick drive to town. You can enjoy the amenities and views of the area without leaving home if you like! Or, get out for an amazing adventure. Entertaining bird watching! This place is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back.

We were warmly welcomed in a very nice, cozy and clean typical house, perfect as a base for visiting the surroundings. There is also an excellent pastry shop in the village for breakfast!

Anita and Hans' apartment is super cute, original and cozy! The seat is fantastic, really cozy, surrounded by shrubs and trees. Very quiet location. Everything is available in the kitchen, including oil, salt, pepper, sugar and coffee machine with capsules. Even Kafirähmli were there. It has no sofa, but a TV in the bedroom and in the separate room with a single bed. Hans responded quickly to questions, check-in was super easy with code. We were even allowed to enter the apartment much earlier. We felt very comfortable!
