Fabulous place to stay right in the centre of Lytham. Deborah was a great host, we had everything we needed and there were thoughtful treats left for us to enjoy which was a lovely touch.. As described in the details the ceilings are really low, no good for anyone near 6 foot or over.

we had a lovely few days here whilst attending a family wedding, the house is fabulous, exactly as described in the pictures. Lynn and her husband were the perfect hosts, comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Recommended 100% if you are in the area.

Had a fantastic stay in Hebden. The property is so homely and feels like a really authentic experience. There are two main walks into town - a scenic waterside route along the canal and a fantastic one along the main road which takes you past a lot of local homes with displays in the window. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely two family break. The house was spacious enough to accommodate us all (4adults/4kids). It had everything we needed. As others mentioned, there was issues with one neighbour, but we understand he will be moving soon. Hayley was responsive to our concerns when raised. Walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants and train station. Only 6 mins into Blackpool on train so perfect for visiting the main attractions. We hope to be visiting again soon!

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay that was so peaceful but also allowed us to enjoy time with our daughter, her partner and our grandson. Beautiful surroundings that felt like being in the countryside without being isolated. The space in the chalet was plenty for the four-plus-one of us, airy and expansive. It was easy to keep a fifteen month old boy, who is just getting mobile, safe and entertained. We were blessed with the Spring weather but even if it had been poor I think we'd have not felt claustrophobic and there was a cupboard with some board games to entertain. We would recommend Kay's for a countryside break away and with half hour access to nearby towns (Kelsall village is walkable), Chester Zoo and North Wales on the doorstep there was plenty to visit. Loved it!

We was welcomed, with a basket of food, milk in the fridge, so when we got there we had a drink, and a snack, while I unpacked the car for the stay over and it was stress free. What a lovely thing to do. We had a nice message on a chalkboard. There is a pool table and plenty of toys, for the kids, there was a modern bathroom with walk in shower, the bedrooms was warm and with plenty of room, we felt like being back at home, but in Blackpool..

I stayed for about 4 months whilst working in Liverpool. Paul’s place was lovely and convenient for the train station and town - about a 20 minute walk down the canal. Paul was friendly and responsive to messages, and checked in every so often during my stay. Beautiful house with home from home comforts in a lovely well kept residential area. Lots to keep us entertained… hot tub, pool, arcade games, darts, swing ball and lots of board games, which brought back childhood memories… hadn’t seen some of the games in years! And also some newer games which we hadn’t seen before. Everything was in the house as we were expecting. We were very lucky with the weather, so spent lots of time exploring local areas too. Lytham and Lytham St Anne’s are lovely… not as busy as Blackpool. Son and daughter explored Blackpool and Blackpool zoo. Model village near the zoo is worth a visit too. All are about 15-20 minutes drive. The Grapes in Wrea (about 5 mins from the house) does lovely bar food and welcomes dogs… treats, bowls and water provided.

It was a pleasure and privilege to spend a week (with good weather) in a modernised, comfortable Listed home in such a beautiful Conservation Area Village with much to explore there on foot. It is located in one of the best spots there too, overlooking the Dell yet only one minute's walk from the Station (which is not noisy at all). That did mean offcomers /commuters parking there (so making it less easy to park nearby) but there is a more private area to park which Matt commended to us. We have experienced various homes but Matt's was both amply and well equipped by comparison to some we have stayed at, with comfortable rooms and plenty of space and facilities. Easy quick and cheap to get into Liverpool by train, and to access the M53 for the rest of the Wirral. Very handy well stocked farm shop a few minutes drive away for goodies and treats. All in all a great stay, thank you Matt.

The place is beautiful and its exactly as described and the Hosts Susan and Neil were friendly and they got everything ready by the time we've got there. We had a great time at their Getaway. The Place was squeaky clean and it was welcoming peace and quite. The instructions guide provided by the hosts listed out everything we could do in the area and it made our stay stress free. The Hot Tub was ready for us and we enjoyed the night stay gazing at the stars and in the morning it was peaceful and quite; could hear the birds chirping. We also got to meet the Horses which elevated our experience staying at this place. We will definitely recommend this place and will soon be coming back in Summer.Great Hosts and Amazing Hospitality.

An amazing visit. The place was perfect for what we wanted, being able to enjoy the sun in the garden, hot tub in the evening, kitchen and dinning area suitable for cooking and hosting for a large group and very comfy beds. Host was fantastic, check in and out details very clear, although nearby didn't feel overlooked at all and came over to offer to set up the outdoor seating area and bbq for us as the weather was great! Looked at recommendations in the area before going, went for food at small plates in Ruthin, canoed the aqueduct and went on a walk suggested in the airbnb folder! Would highly recommend and would visit again!

The cottage is in a great location to explore the beautiful Ribble Valley. We stayed there for a long weekend whilst visiting family. A cosy and compact cottage which is well equipped. Lorraine had just had a new kitchen fitted which is lovely. The bedrooms are quite small but each fit in a double bed just fine. The decking and view out the back is lovely. There’s a dedicated parking space out the front which is a bonus. Check in is easy and Lorraine communicates everything you need.
