Great hosts, very friendly. Very pretty location, we were able to walk in the large garden and enjoy the views. Cottage was very well equipped, fresh milk, bread and eggs left for us, even supplied tea, coffee and cooking condiments. Soaps and washing powder also supplied. Very comfortable beds, all towels supplied. The only let down was the wifi connection which kept dropping even after resetting the router numerous times. Was also not always able to use 4G as the property was quite remote. Otherwise was lovely, highly recommend their property.

I stayed at Luke and Rachel’s Annexe for a longer stay and had a really positive experience. They were really great hosts - friendly, helpful, very kind and always easy to communicate with. The property is set in a stunning location in a beautiful village, with peaceful surroundings and lovely countryside nearby. It was an easy commute into London Liverpool Street (you do need a car to get to the nearest train station which is a few minutes drive away, and there’s free parking on the village streets which was a bonus). All in all, a great base for a longer stay. Thanks again for having me!

What a great stay in Saffron Walden at Sarah's cottage! As Mary Poppins might have said: 'Practically perfect in every way.' Superb accommodation, really well appointed and perfectly placed to explore Saffron Walden, and just a twenty minute walk to Saffron Hall for the gig we came to see. Would heartily recommend and will stay again next time we're back in the area.

The perfect place to get away and spend time in nature. Such a peaceful beautiful place. The cottage is perfect, the bed is very comfortable so is the sofa. The fire place is lovely and I felt right at home, didn’t want to leave! Plenty of places to walk and a pub and tescos about a 15 min walk away. Heads up the signal isn’t great - which I loved as we were there for peace, wifi is ok for messaging but can’t handle conference calls or video calls! I think there might be a trick with the oven too but I didn’t figure it out. Oliver and Dee are lovely and really helpful too! All in all a perfect peaceful getaway and I can’t wait to go back.

Debs and Lucy are great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at Drake Cottage. Set in a lovely quiet part of Saffron Walden but within walking distance to the the town which is full of great shops and amenities. The cottage is fully equipped with everything to make it the perfect stay. I thought the bathrobes were a nice touch. We will definitely be making a return visit.
