The Cabin in the garden

A private, simply furnished cabin at the bottom of our garden within the World Heritage Site. The cabin has two single beds. There is a shower room and separate toilet ten steps from the cabin . We are 100 metres from a great pub which serves real ales and excellent food. The space is very private with access to a small garden. We are a 5 minute walk from Thomas Telfords famous aqueduct. Offas Dyke path is at the bottom of our drive. We are close to Trevor Barns and Tyn Dwr Hall wedding venues

The Studio

The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

Carpenter's Cottage is situated at the heart of the historic Halston Estate. Recently renovated the single storey listed building has spacious rooms and double height ceilings. An ideal get away for up to six people it has a courtyard garden for sunny days and a woodburner for the colder, wetter days. Shared use of a tennis court. The house is fantastically well equipped and in an ideal location for exploring anywhere from South Shropshire to Snowdonia, Chester or Ellesmere and Shrewsbury.

We loved our stay so much that we can't wait to come back! The place was pristine, beautifully decorated with so much character, surrounded by beauty, perfectly stocked, and so comfortable! We felt so peaceful in this cozy stay. Nearby Oswestry was a cute little town with lots of food options. We greatly appreciated the helpful binder of recommendations and information left by the hosts. Perhaps the best part was cuddling with Rocky, one of the cats! We are excited to escape the bustle of London to stay in this serene place again in the future!

Cosy, quirky cottage

I can't say enough about this place it's fantastic. Close to all that Oswestry has to offer but just outside all the action, to be quite and comfortable, when you'd like to relax. It is literally a 2-minute walk from pubs, shopping, the Castle and the Market. The accommodations have everything you could possibly need, a book that outlines everything about the accommodation, the town, attractions and even local menus . If not in the book, the hosts are quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this place, except for any weekend that I'd like to be there, because I will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic place to stay in this area. Sonja was a perfect host; responsive, friendly and very helpful. Her place was spotless, well equipped and very comfortable for our group of 6. Having 2 separate living areas was a bonus for us. Sonja left a wealth of information for us about the local area and it was a great place to use as a base to explore the local attractions. Sonja’s place is right on the canal and it was a short walk to the local pub for meals. Highly recommended.

Comfortable Double Room in 19th Century Townhouse

Chris and Veronica are charming hosts - but more than that, they go that extra mile, and that's what makes staying in their lovely house such a joy. My bedroom was next to the kitchen, and I was told (encouraged even!) to help myself. There was cereal, porridge, bacon, eggs, and lots of fresh fruit and yogurts. Cereal with fresh raspberries and strawberries went down well, followed by a cherry Yogurt for good measure! My bedroom was lovely, and the bed super comfortable. Hairdryer, board games, iron etc., all available. My spacious bathroom was on the next floor - with bathrobe, toiletries, towels .... and a sweet touch ... a pink shower scrunchy for me, and a blue one for my other half. A powerful shower, and also a bath with unlimited amounts of hot water. Bliss! Also, a well stocked bathroom cupboard should one forget any necessities. I highly recommend this lovely Airbnb ... so much so that I'm back in a month! Thank you both and a hug for sweet Milo!
