Vacation rentals in Whitetop

We loved our stay at Melissa’s place! The house is so cozy and reminded me of my grandparents’ house in all the best ways. It had the feeling of a place that is well loved. The setting is gorgeous too. Melissa was really helpful and responsive with any questions we had and really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Would absolutely stay again!

Steve provided very clear instructions and information to access the house and wifi. The house included everything needed for cooking, sleeping, showering, and to be comfortable. The location was great for us since it is close to many great hiking trails and places for fly fishing. Many brochures and guides for local towns and activities were provided. Steve was very responsive with text messages prior to arrival and when we were preparing to leave. Overall, Steve is an excellent host.

If you want to hear the sound of silence, that's the place. Beth is very discreet but respond very quickly at requests. Value for money excellent. Thanks from Québec.

Can rate cabin in one word,"Wow!".. Beautiful cabin. Beautiful view. Friendly Donkeys. Restful. Mountain views! Can do outside activities. We enjoyed sitting on porch and the porch swing. We will definitely stay again!

our stay at Grandma's Cottage was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fenced in front yard for our fur babies. She responded quickly and was very helpful. A very good price for the location.

Wally’s place stood out as special amoung our many Air B&B stays over the years. The space made us feel right at home. The kitchen stood out as very well appointed. It was easy to cook a nice meal and we had everything we needed. There were plenty of soft towels, and when we communicated the hosts were so helpful and understanding. This home is close to Whitetop Station. If you do the VA Creeper Trial (we did!!) it would be easy to park at the top of the trail, ride down to Damascus and then catch the shuttle back up to get your car. Make sure to spend time by Laurel Creek which goes along the Creeper Trail. I’ve never seen a more gorgeous creek.

We had the misfortune of being caught in a storm but Mary and family went above and beyond to help our family. We are very thankful for their kindness.

Excellent stay! A lovely location - quiet and peaceful but an easy drive into Lansing! The cottage was perfectly clean and very much like home. We especially enjoyed the kitchen and front porch swing. The bed was comfy too! Beautiful yard and views. The host was super nice and helpful. This will be our first choice when we are back in this area!
