This home can accommodate 4 guests and it is in a great area to begin your adventure. It is located on the westside within a safe, quiet neighborhood with easy access to the freeway or downtown area within minutes. We have furnished the home with comfortable furnishings that blend nicely with the architecture and encourage relaxation. Everything that you might need for a pleasant stay has been provided. Upon arrival you will enter entry foyer leading to the living room, kitchen and dining room. The living room is furnished with a large sectional couch and one accent chair for encouraged relaxation. You can enjoy watching movies on a 55” smart TV with blue ray player, free Netflix or stream your favorite movies via our free Wi-Fi. The dining room is open to the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices/herbs/coffee, cookware, glassware and dinnerware and coffee maker everything you may need is provided. Just grab your groceries and you’re set to prepare your favorite home cooked meals. There is a laundry facility in the unit with a washer and dryer and we do supply basic laundering supplies. Each of the two queen sized bedrooms are furnished with two night stands with two lamps, a dresser with large closets. The two bedrooms are located up six stairs and share a common full bathroom. Our bathrooms are fully supplied with fine bath linens, body soap, shampoo, condition, and liquid hand soap/lotion with hair dryers for the convenience of our guests. A private patio with beautiful back backyard where you can enjoy the bluebirds or view the night lights of the town from the dining room. There is off street parking and this unit is family friendly with child gate, play-n-pack and a highchair. Must climb stairs to enter this duplex home. Ben's place was beautiful, and the view was beyond amazing! Every level of the four-story home had an incredible view of the river and downtown. And the rooftop deck was a nice bonus for stargazing (and I imagine it would be excellent during the summer months!). The restaurants we chose in downtown, including Doppio Coffee were just a couple of blocks walk downhill. Nothing was further than 5-6 minutes away by foot. So convenient! This is was perfect home to bring the extended family to, grandparents and our 5-year-old son for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

Adorable 2 Bdrm Cabin in the Heart of Wine Country

A very nice place, small but slightly bigger than I expected. Decently priced, good location, and great instructions from the hosts. Well stocked kitchen and free coffee, etc. The queen and double beds are soft and the twin is more firm. I did find it odd that there weren't any top sheets on the beds, just the fitted sheet and the quilt on top of it. You may want to bring some extra blankets for warmth if you have more guests. We would've liked if the bedding wasn't scented, it was quite fragrant and that's a common sensitivity for many people now. Also the thermostat was quite frustrating, at least 4 times per day/night it would automatically turn down the temperature without any warning nor indication. We couldn't easily find how to change this, but neither did we contact the hosts about it so that's on us. Overall I definitely recommend staying here and would do so again! 3 people total is very comfortable in the space, but more than 4 would be quite cramped.

What a FANTASTIC place! Great location, beautiful decor, comfy beds, wonderful layout, plenty of fluffy towels, well stocked - We could not ask for more. The hosts are the sweetest and very kind and also allowed us to check in a bit early when we arrived in town in advance of our scheduled eta and responded almost immediately to any communications. The home was absolutely spotless from top to bottom we felt right at home the moment we opened the front door. Peaceful views of the Columbia River and we loved watching the barges float by (we are native to The Dalles and grew up watching the trains and barges from our grandparents home up on Hermits Way). THANK YOU so much for sharing your fantastic space with us. We'd love to stay with you again!!

Was just what we wanted, it was so clean and cozy. Very well stocked, especially the kitchen. The hot tub was working well. The house was warm and decorated for Christmas! Walking distance to the river. We went with a group of 10, we all fit comfortably and had a wonderful time. The dining table is big enough for everyone to play games and eat together. Check in and check out was easy and seamless. Highly recommend.
