Kid-friendly vacation rentals in White Salmon River

We had a wonderful three night stay here on the river with Lyon-laws and will definitely be back! The setting is so peaceful, everyone reported their bed as being super comfortable with soft luxurious linens. The hot tub on the deck has an awesome river view. Gretchen and Flavio were friendly and responsive and even got us an early check-in time just as a kind gesture. Thanks so much!

House was very spacious and included pickleball and basketball equipment as well as even a garage gym with a peloton and weights. The speaker system in the living room was of highest quality and the furniture was all comfortable. The hot tub was also great as well. Thank you Ryan for hosting!

Charming home in the Hood River highlands, and walking distance to a market and bakery. We enjoyed our stay with a toddler and baby, particularly the toys, games, and books.

Greatly enjoyed the stay at this home! Marcus was very quick in responding to any questions/requests given. Everything lined up with the photos provided in the listing and felt very comfortable with four guests present. Was able to fit two vehicles in the driveway and one vehicle out on the street. Parking beyond that is already hit or miss. Looking forward to staying here again if I’ll be in the area👍👍

We had a great stay at Mike’s place. It was so clean & a great space for our family. We were glad to have the 2 bathrooms & the nice kitchen to make meals. We’d definitely recommend it!

We booked this beautiful place for an anniversary get away, and we absolutely loved the historic house. It was very clean and cozy, instructions were easy and helpful. Jon is very responsive and very kind. Our only downside was having to leave a day early due to winter storm warnings and wanted to make sure we made it back home safely. We totally plan on coming back in the warmer months! Genuinely, this is the coolest Airbnb my boyfriend and I have stayed in and can’t wait to book again in the future!

we enjoyed our stay very much, after our afternoon iin the car how wonderful if was to kick off our shoes on the back pourch in two rocking chairs and to listen to the river flow. Our room was very clean, the host was very helpful and responded quickly to our only issue, we needed more sugar. Couldn't have been any happier with our selection and strongly recommend Karey's to all in the area

I felt very at home in the cute little condo. It had a nice cabin feel and, while small, had everything I needed. Comfortable and not a lot of rules or instructions and felt very welcoming. Great price for an often expensive town. My dog loved it too and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go!

always happy to be here in troutdale, perfect location for walking to downtown and easy access to the bus to portland. love how quiet it is here at night and so close to the river. i’ll be back!

What can I say? One of my favorite Airbnb’s. Start with the bed, bedding & linens. When you find TOP QUALITY furniture, beds, etc., you know you’re in a special place where the owner has pride. Patricia & Frank’s home has all the charm of an older house combined with stellar furnishings, cleanliness & coziness. The Dalles is right out of a Norman Rockwell painting on the banks of the Columbia River Gorge region, but a stone’s throw from gorgeous mountain scenery, waterfalls into majestic streams & rivers, and hiking trails. Pubs, wineries, coffee shops & restaurants are all within walking distance. Finally, Patricia’s artistic & creative talents are on display throughout the home’s decor. We will return!!!

Keri and Tom were wonderful hosts! The place was beautiful and they provided anything else you may need! The area was peaceful so I enjoyed many hours out back reading a book and enjoying the fountain sounds from her serene garden. I felt so at home!they were both incredibly kind and welcoming! It was a pleasure to meet them in person!

We had a fantastic stay. We are grateful they offer a rollaway bed as our son and daughter don’t enjoy sharing one bed! The place was spacious, clean, very well stocked, and wonderfully peaceful.

Overall, the condo was very nice and the location was excellent! Easy walking distance to everything in downtown Hood River and directly above a wonderful coffee shop/bakery. Mary was very responsive and helpful. The one item that could use some additional explanation in the condo description was the bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable but there was very limited privacy. The bedroom walls are 3/4 walls with a large space between the top of the wall and the ceiling. The bedrooms also do not have doors but have hanging drapes. As I said, the overall comfort was excellent but with two teenage boys, my husband and I felt our privacy was limited.

We had a great experience! This Airbnb was very clean and accessible. The view is beautiful! We felt right at home. We walked to the local restaurant, MoCo, only a 6 minute walk. They had great food and atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you Jessica for having an amazing place and being quick to respond!
