Very responsive hosts. Instructions to get in were clear. Home is stacked with everything you could need and more with labeled drawers and closets. Puzzles, games, toiletries, baggies, storage containers, laundry options, every kitchen appliance needed for food and drink, many towels and linens. Newer seeming couches in main room were comfy. While it felt like fall during our visit, many options for water activities available. Pup enjoyed swimming and helping us fish off the pier. Nearby corner store gas station has many grocery options, deli, and everything you likely need for fishing, cocktails, and even had a birthday cake. Definitely worth the drive to explore Goodman County Park/Story Falls. Peaceful lake property. Definitely would consider booking again!

After staying at Maddie's place, I went back through the listing to see what it was rated -- and was surprised it wasn't 5-star by other reviewers. I've stayed in dozens of Airbnb properties - and this one was a winner. Clean, quiet, private, and beautiful. It was the perfect place for my husband and dog to get a bit of R&R. We took a few walks, used several of the amenities in the kitchen area, and appreciated the water pressure and temperature for the shower. And the view alone was worth 5-stars.

We highly recommend this place. All went very smooth throughout the reservation, check-in and check-out process. The house is set-up to enjoy the easy access lake view. Lots of comfortable outdoor furniture, too. The kitchen is full stocked with all the pots, pan, etc. you could need…including a crockpot. Coffee pot tip…don’t pull more than 8 cups of water in the pot or 2 scoops (1/2 cup) grounds - or the water stops flowing through or you end up with a lot of grounds in the pot. We would be very happy to return here!

Host was responsive and place was fantastic. Cabin was in a great location next to two great restaurant/bars.

Our stay at Deb and Matt's place was wonderful. Deb was so friendly and accommodating. The space is beautiful, clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend staying here.

All we could want in a BnB & more- very clean, quiet neighborhood, roomy with plenty of places to put our stuff away out of sight, comfy beds & furniture, sauna, hot tub, well-stocked kitchen, extra pillows & blankets & towels, tea kettle in addition to the coffee pots, and space in the cabinets. This is a place to truly kick back & just relax. The lake view was our favorite thing, and could be enjoyed right from the comfy couch- which was wonderful when the weather wasn’t cooperating. We really enjoyed watching the Great Blue Heron fishing in the shallows. Something we really appreciated was use of the attached garage. It rained a number of days while we were there, including while we were unpacking our car, and having use of the garage was great! This is a place that gets earmarked in hopes of a return trip.

Great place on Boom Lake - perfect for a lake retreat, with a fun game space in the basement, great fire pit area and easy access to the lake. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the most peaceful, relaxing time .The cabin was everything we wanted. clean,quiet and we loved the quiet lake fished and caught a few quite a few sunnies. Saw turtles ... Laura was a wonderful host she knew we came from far away and might not of had rain gear. it rained a couple days and she offered us rain jackets and umbrellas. Her cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. thank you for sharing your home with us . We will be back

My husband and I came here for a long weekend to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place! Such a beautiful, immaculately clean, and well-stocked cabin with so many extra special touches! The location was wonderful, no neighbors right on either side of the cabin, so it felt private and was so quiet and peaceful! The leaves were at the height of changing color and made for gorgeous views out on the lake and from the cabin!! (2nd weekend of October) Coffee on the deck with the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings was just perfect! Thank you for everything you did to make our stay so wonderful and responding so quickly to messages and giving great instructions on various things! We cannot wait to come back here again!!

Great place to unwind. Although the living space is small, it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Being able to relax in the hot tub while being able to get an awesome view of the lake was soothing to the soul.

We had a great time! Casey's place was adorable, clean and well stocked with all the things we needed to feel at home/cook our meals. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of 5. We recommend staying here!

This was a great place and Erin was a great host. The amenities of the space were top notch and I found everything I needed. Especially appreciated the helpful instructions and the local menus. Definitely a great location to visit state and county parks. We loved visiting Dave' Falls!

Wonderful cabin for a getaway in northern Wisconsin, we really enjoyed our team. Especially the fireplace!

My family and I stayed for Father’s Day weekend. Unfortunately, the weekend was odd with heavy rain and cold weather. Fortunately, this home was so unbelievably comfortable and filled with character. We were happy to feel right at home in this cozy spot. River access was great with all listed water equipment such as kayaks, canoe, and paddle board ready to use among other equipment. It was nice and secluded and really a beautiful area. Would highly recommend.

Jacob was a great host he responded quickly and gave clear instructions. It was a very nice place, everything was very clean when we arrived. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at the Evergreen Escape for a weekend. The place was perfect in every aspect! We went rafting at Kosir’s right down the road which was a wonderful experience! Highly recommend this beautiful home for a summer get away 💚

I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s Cottage in Wittenberg—it was exactly what I was hoping for and more. The space was *super clean*, peaceful, and made for a relaxing getaway. There was plenty to do in the area, especially if you're into hiking and fishing—tons of beautiful trails and great spots nearby. Michael was incredibly responsive and made the whole experience seamless. You can tell he cares about his guests’ comfort. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

Cute, clean, beautifully decorated cabin inside and out. Easy, relatively level walk to shoreline. We caught panfish one after another off of the dock, and a couple of catfish. Beautiful view, and the 2 fishing kayaks and rowboat were a nice added plus! There are neighbors, but hardly anyone was on the lake the weekend we stayed. Very quiet and peaceful lake and area. The cabin was perfect for our needs, and the queen bed was comfy. We would stay again!

Melissa's place was great! Right across the street from a lake with perfectly clear water and all kinds of fish - it's like an aquarium. We stayed for the weekend to do some fishing and gravel cycling, and we highly recommend it!

Cute little nook to rest and recharge! We saw a bears, porcupines, and hummingbirds!

We loved staying here! We were four adults and two kids and there was plenty of room for us. The woods around us were beautiful.
